Heroes of Loot 2

Better than the first game, still bad. The low res sprites make it harder to see anything going on screen. As mentioned by others, there is no significant loot gathering. At most, you gather coins to buy items in shop and those items provide no information as to what they do, so you'll need to memorize everything. It tries to be old school Gauntlet but includes poor visual cues to be casual fun for me.

Decent retro style gauntlet like game. Has "story" mode and endless/survival mode. Game is basic in terms of controls, no dash, just hold down 1 button and attack (game has auto aim but you can manual aim for when auto aim is not targeting what you want). Game has 8 characters in total with 4 unlocked at the start, getting the other 4 you need to get hero card's via the game's story mode to unlock them (need to collect like 15-20 hero cards per hero to unlock). Although the forums arent active, the dev does keep an eye on them for when their is issue's with the game and does patch it when needed. Keyboard keys can be rebinded and if you wanna rebind controller keys (which in all honestly i dont think is needed, you just press and hold down x/square and use the pad/left joystick to move, but to each their own) the only option is to do so via steams controller reconfig. Can turn off the blood/flesh bits if thats not your thing in options. Their is no option to disable screen shake from what i can tell, but its not that bad. Items sold in shops have no mouse overs though, so from what i can tell is this: Health potions = an extra health bar, dmg is applied to that extra health bar…

Heroes of Loot 1, while not great, did have co-op play! This one removes that, and is not tons better otherwise. Save your money for something else. On to try Gauntlet of whatever, the 3rd game!

How can EVERYTHING that Orangepixel made is the worst gaming experience that can race with Ubermosh games... *you can softlock yourself even, sometimes the key you need doesn't even spawn in the floor! Y'now what, I'm just gonna copy paste this comment, for any game that I have from this developer...

Great game, you can also play it with a friend with local co-op or remote play!

Recently found this on Steam ! With a twin stick controler this is great. The origional Heroes of loot was epic, but this on PC Loot 2 is even better. More interesting dungeons, lighting, and a laugh out lloud amount of destruction. Loving to switch between characters... snipe and range with the elf and when the action is too hot smash in with the warrior. Great fun.
