This game works fine on the Meta Quest 3 using Virtual Desktop. No problems with getting my motion controllers recognized. So I don't know what the negative reviews are going on about. However, this isn't really a good game. It may be worth it at $3.74 USD. However, it definitely isn't worth $14.99 USD. Game has been in Early Access for over 10 years. The last update was in August of 2016. It shows in the gameplay. I was randomly going up. Picking up weapons was haphazard. Climbing was finnicky. It feels like an Early Access game, but it's been abandoned. It should be de-listed. It's a shame because the game had potential if it had ever been polished. The photogrammetry was ahead of its time. It's room-scale, but it does have arm-swing locomotion but it rarely worked correctly. No smooth or snap turning, you have to turn IRL. Rate 4/10. Abandoned, left in a state that it's barely functional. I cannot recommend at full price. Maybe worth it at sale price if you want to know what 2016 VR games were like.

Roomscale Tower is an unusual relic from the formative years of consumer virtual reality, built around the idea that VR should encourage genuine physical movement rather than simply place traditional controls inside a headset. Developed and published by DuplicatorStudio, it is a medieval-themed action-adventure experience created specifically around room-scale VR. Players assume the role of a knight searching for wealth while navigating towers filled with hazards, battling skeletons, climbing structures, practicing with medieval weapons, and participating in several smaller activities. Its ambitions are easy to appreciate, although the unfinished state of the project makes it feel more like a collection of experimental VR concepts than a complete adventure. The Tower mode best represents the original concept. Instead of constantly teleporting between locations, players with sufficient physical space can walk around their tracked area while platforms, elevators, boats, and mine carts help create the illusion of traveling farther than the boundaries of the room. Smaller play spaces are accommodated through an ArmSwinger movement system that translates swinging motions into virtual l…

Hello, i eagerly bought this game thinking it is what it claims it is, unfortunately i waisted time and money on it, first of all the controllers are not responsive from within the game, grips don't work, so as movements and menus, basically nothing works inside, u just wander around with arrows hitting you from everywhere with nothing you can do, Unless serious improvement is done on the game, I don't recommend it at all.

Revisited this game after nearly 1 year and only minor things changed, while nothing of the existing "game" got improved... the idea is very good but execution lacks in every aspect. I got sicker than nearly most fast paced shooters and i can stomach quite some crazy vr games. This game is stuttering on a titanx (old model but still) the appearently laser scanned walls are open on so many places, other than the textures the game is nearly empty. The gameplay itself is buggy most modes never noticed me finishend them with no way to end it. Movement options are only for the core and do not work as well as one would think. For some reason they added a useless map/room with some music and ugly animated npcs when there was still so much to fix. TL;DR; dont even think about buying for this price

This game is unplayable for me. I had to sit down after only a few minutes of playing. The play area is constantly rotated and jumps/lags a lot. I almost fell down a couple of times. Also, the poor water shader gave me a headache.

Very good game with interesting dynamics and nice graphics. I hope the developpers will leave the mini-game style of the gameplay, connecting functionally the stages instead to get a complete adventure game, which would be awesome starting from this base.
