[h1]Gameplay: 4/10[/h1] [h1]Graphics & Sound: 6/10[/h1] [h1]Narration: 4/10[/h1] ✔️ Nice enough core gameplay mechanics, character building is rather fun, toying with status effects is kinda enjoyable. ✔️ Cool music. ✔️ Pixel art looks nice. 💭 The story is a bit nonsensical. People change sides and have personality shifts all the time without any explanation except "oh things changed", situations tend to go unsolved. ❌ The game is very opaque about a lot of stuff (skill, stats, statuses... descriptions), and a bunch of information it presents is just outright wrong. ❌ The progression is very confusing, you get levels only on characters that took part in battles, but you only have a limited number of battles during the campaign meaning you can't really make characters that fall behind catch up in experience - BUT ALSO you can recruit new characters for little money, so you essentially have to throw characters away and hire new ones if you want to try a bit of a different composition. All the while main characters almost always level up even when not taking part in battles. Honestly it would have been better to just make all your characters always share the same level, a lot less…

UI feels clunky/unpolished such as no camera rotation & selection of actions feels choppy. Music is odd w/ the smooth jazz. Concept seems good but given that it's been released 2 years w/o further refinement, feels like an unfinished project

I think it's jive!

As someone who grew up with Final Fantasy Tactics, I absolutely love this game. The battles, story, and overall style check all the right boxes for me.

I actually like the game a lot, its not in the level of final fantasy tactics or such... But it has its own charm and I love it
