I gave this game a chance. The story so far isn't anything memorable, though the interactions are entertaining. And I enjoy everything about this except the combat. I know most people are probably going to control the combat on their own, but I was giving this a chance because it has auto-combat. I figured I'd get to just enjoy the process of gearing up squads and leveling them up, picking abilities, then have fun watching the combat play out without having to spend 10-20 minutes on each encounter. But the auto-combat is terrible. Squishy healers run into the front line, mages run away and miss multiple turns of being able to attack, healers wait too long to heal allies, and nobody ever uses potions when they need to in a pinch. The lack of a tactics system really means that the auto-combat just isn't feasible. I just beat the first boss encounter, barely, and only because I turned the difficulty down to easy. And even leaving it on easy, the generic combat enemies of level 4-5 encounters, with 4 level 5s and a level 4 are just getting destroyed in combat. I'm sure if you don't mind taking control of turn based combat that you could find a lot of enjoyment in this game. But I f…3 found this helpful
