About Lumberjack Simulator

Are you ready to put your forestry and logging skills to the test? In this simulator game, you navigate an open world, the vehicles and the trees being in accordance with real-world physics. You can interact with the terrain (altering it in the process), cruise around in the off-road automobiles, and start putting some callouses on your palms by swinging around a chainsaw, an axe, and other tools.

Unlike any other simulation game, this game encourages you to master the wilderness. Each tree is like something straight out of a real-life forest, and you can cut it down however you like, paring away the branches with your hand axe and selling off the valuable logs at the local mill. How will you invest your proceeds? Machines, new land, truck upgrades: there are many options available to you. This is your business; run it how you see fit.

These badass forestry vehicles feature realistic steering, suspension, gear shifts, and transmission. For truck enthusiasts, these vehicles will be familiar – the models straight out of the logging industry. You set the controls too, changing the drive mode depending on the terrain that you need to cross. Don't get stuck!

The map is an open world, its details numerous and filled with challenges. From high slopes to varying surfaces, there is plenty to look out for, and you need to stay focused in order to deliver your logs to their final destination (and keep your truck intact).

You choose when to enter and exit your vehicles, when you use your tools, which tools to use, and how to clear and move trees. Be careful: you are going to need a plan if you want to thrive in the logging business.

Lumberjack Simulator is an open-world, first-person simulation that sets out to capture the physical reality and routine of modern logging work. Developed and published by Exponential Games Inc., the title focuses on hands-on interaction with tools, machinery, and terrain, asking players to approach forestry as a process rather than a spectacle. From the beginning, the game signals its intentions clearly: progress comes from patience, repetition, and a willingness to learn how heavy equipment behaves in difficult environments, not from fast rewards or cinematic set pieces. The core gameplay loop centers on locating trees, cutting them down with appropriate tools, processing the logs, and transporting them across uneven ground to selling points. Early on, this work is done with basic equipment, such as axes and chainsaws, before gradually unlocking larger vehicles and more efficient machinery. There is a tangible sense of labor to every task, from lining up a cut to maneuvering a loaded trailer through mud and over inclines. When everything goes smoothly, the experience can be quietly satisfying, as each successful haul reinforces the feeling of building a working operation piece b…

Looks good but that's about it sadly. Was looking for something to fill the FS Logging itch without having to do anything else. The ain't it, chat. This ain't it. Good time killer and I will be putting some more playtime on it but if ya looking for something good, look elsewhere. This needed to cook a little longer.

This logging game had a lot of potential, a perfect combo of mudrunner terrain deformation with the logging experience of Farming Simulator. however it was seemingly abandonned before truely reaching its potential. Performance seems to chug, physics feel unpolished and causes glitches with the vehicles, despite being a satisfying gameloop (similar to logging in farming simulator). the technical challenges and the vehicle glitches ruin the overall experience, looking for logging trucks in mud go to the snowrunner franchise, looking for actual logging go to farm simulator and either use the basegame or download some free additional logging mods. For it's price i dont recommend it, unless the developers decide to take a look at it again and actually refine it, i would not advice to get this one. My biggest issue was related to the terrain deformation, the mud was fine, you got stuck in it okay makes sense, but then i put mud matts over the mud, and the wheels of my vehicles kept bugging out on these items, the one supposed to help me cross the mud made it a hell to get through. In the end i spend most my time using the feller to cut and instantly transport my logs to the mills, an…
