game designed for a toddler with terrible controls, terrible visual queues and absolutely nothing of value outside of being cute. sorry but cute isnt enough. the music game elements combine everything i hate in music games that good music games generally dont have. obscure timing window, long unskippable sections, squeaky hit sounds, bad controls. like whose idea was it to implement hold notes that you initiate with left and Y and include singles you need to hit with UP while holding LEFT without the ability to rebind your keys? tons of potential in this game squandered by having the worst music game ever be the premise of it and having the unlockables be monotanous linear progression that gives you the illusion of discovery. if you feel lost the pause screen literally tells you exactly where to go, and the only reason you would feel lost is because you decided to explore instead of just going forward, not that there is anything to discover. absolutely no business being labled a metroidvania, since theres no map, no collectables, no abilities and all you do is repeat the on screen notes and get more notes. the fact that this is 2 dollars on 90% sale is crimnal and anyone who pays f…

Adorable birbs, all of the puns, a heartwarming story and nice music. It feels so good when you nail complicated songs by sound rather than looking at the icons. Loved playing this game! Also runs well on Steam Deck without changing settings.

It's times like these I wish I could leave a mixed review. The visuals are adorable, the music is catchy, and the story is very sweet! But! The rhythm gameplay. During progression, you'll gain additional notes you'll need to use in songs if you want a high rank. These are dropped upon you suddenly during said songs, which I wouldn't consider a big deal if you could easily restart a song. But, until you clear it, you'll have to exit to the menu and do a runback if you want to start over. I felt that, after 4 notes, the difficulty reached a peak that I struggled to keep up with. Normally, I'd say 'skill issue' and just give it another stab, but, for whatever reason, bad rhythm just isn't penalized and good rhythm isn't rewarded. Not even an achievement for clearing all the songs on S-rank, so I couldn't really find a reason to do well beyond just feeling like it. That said! I got it for a great price on sale, which it's well worth. Maybe someone cracked at rhythm games would like it more than me.

Very cute and wholesome game, played the demo years ago when flash was around, and I finally got to play it. Definitly worth it

Despite being a little buggy at times, this is a really wholesome and cute rhythm game that I love dearly. There was a point in my life where I tried to commit streaming a playthrough of this every month on the 12th, just to show more people the game. That was. A long time ago now, LOL. But.. in any case, this game left a lasting impression on me and left me feeling cozy and seen. I don't think its' story is perfect or whatever, but I don't think it needs to be. A cute little collection-oriented rhythm game that I wish was WAY more popular.
