West of Dead

I agree with many of the complains negative reviews have posted. While I do like this game, it has absolutely no respect for your time, there is so many long and annoying dialogues that you have to skip through if you wanna get back to actually playing. and it’s roguelike mechanics are heavily lacking. It’s got many fun systems but the player’s strength doesn’t change all that much when compared to the increasing difficulty, and it takes so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long to actually complete a run. I have played over two dozen runs of this game and yet to actually finish one. So I’ll leave a negative review in hopes the devs actually remedy the common complaints other reviews have posted. The gameplay and pacing is not nearly fast enough to justify the insane amount of time you need to invest run to run to actually finish. I think probably the worst aspect of this, is the fact that there are almost no item drops. Also wanna mention, this game is trying to be a rogue-lite not a roguelike, but it fails to give any real power to the player in either department and ends up coming off as a somewhat unfinished game.

my first Rouguelike when it first came out. The gunplay is really fun, and the story is really fun and quite interesting

For a game I don't remember buying and just randomly trying it out. I love it. Perfect game for my steam deck and easy to play while watching the kids.

Good game! Small, simple but good.

After 52 hours and still not pass the Chapter 2
