Steam somehow did not record my actual time spent with this game, so please ignore that. There are a few things that prevented me from keeping this game. First of all, there are no graphic settings at all, not even a resolution setting. This means MSI Afterburner does not work because the on-screen display does not show. There are also no settings for the controls and camera movement is too fast with the 3D board style. The 3D board style also has a strange depth of field blurring effect that cannot be disabled. So most of the board is blurred until you focus. The 3D board style never felt comfortable to me in this game. Another issue is that once you click a chess piece, you must click it again in order to click another chess piece if you change your mind. The developer also never once patched this game since it was released in 2018 and seems to have abandoned it. I cannot recommend this game, but I do recommend a far superior pc chess game called Progress Chess.

This game is great but there are a few improvements i'd like to see. Like the ELO rating of the Guru needs to be improved and the various ELO ratings of each player should be accessible. Also the game needs updates, I do enjoy the puzzles and would like for more to be added. Additionally more opening theory, i think a session dedicated to opening and endgames is best. All in all the game is very good and helps to teach the game of chess.
