My favorite game.

I would like the ability to force the computer player to make certain moves and to be able to set the board up as I wish. This is not so I can "beat" the game all the time, but to force the game to deal with certain scenerios.

I was searching for a 3D chess game when I came across this one. It looked beautiful, so I was excited to try it out. On my first play, it really did look great, and I was willing to overlook a few minor glitches at the start. However, those issues started to become more noticeable over time. When I tried playing with friends, more serious problems appeared—some of the pieces seemed to come from a completely different set, and the game would randomly switch from a 3D view to a 2D view. The lighting also takes some getting used to, and the pieces feel slightly too large for the board. I’ve since downloaded another chess game that runs without any glitches, and I don’t experience issues with any other games I own, so I’m confident it’s not a problem with my setup. That said, the game does have a lot of visual appeal, and I hope future updates fix these issues.

[h1] 15/100 [/h1] You do indeed get chess in 3D, but there are a lot of flaws that I feel makes the experience worse. First of all, the computer that you can play against does play awkward sometimes and even the most difficult AI will occasionally play absurd moves. It's also worth mentioning that the multiplayer mode has no players so if you want to play against other people then you better look elsewhere. Personally I found that some of the challenges were a little weird like the ones where you avoid getting checked and I also thought that some of the puzzles were quite unbalanced in difficulty when progressing through them. Another thing that I want to mention is that when i played, a bug occurred where I couldn't move a certain piece. I would say that I have sufficient experience in chess to see that there was nothing that should have stopped me from moving the piece. The fact that you can make your own puzzles though is a nice feature. Overall I feel that this game doesn't really offer much that you can't find elsewhere (e.g. chess.com, lichess.org), and what it does offer feels subpar in quality which is why I personally wouldn't recommend the game to others.
