Game is decently well made, but also feels slightly janky at the same time. Both In terms of player movement and animations. As far as gameplay goes, it is essentially identical to the classic sonic games in almost every way. And I hate sonic games. So if you are a sonic hater, stay away. If you like the sonic games though, by all means pick it up I'm sure you'll love it.2 found this helpful
Happy 1 year! Played through the story and enjoyed it! The last boss fight had me there for a bit but the extras/unlockables will draw me back in. Totally worth the price!1 found this helpful
A fun, bite-size platformer in the same vein as classic 2D sonic games. The controls are straightfoward and feel fairly intuitive, the fun of movement comes from the level design making it feel effortless to slide and jump around quickly to music that has no right going as hard as it does. The environments and character designs are very charming and evocative of old school platformers in their variety. The story is adorable, but the tone at the ending does feel a bit overly ambitious considering the game length (I got through the story levels in about 1 hour). I had a LOT of trouble with the final boss feeling magnitudes harder than the rest of the game, but the game is very forgiving for just getting through, with the time trials and optional achievements providing more challenge and replayability.
An all too short locomotion-focused platformer where players slide and bounce across several levels as the last creature of their kind. The overly dark story and floaty controls make it a chore to play. Full Review: https://neoncloudff.wordpress.com/2023/01/31/now-playing-january-2023-edition/
Cute game with solid controls.
Lots of fun, nice story, wonderful music, and adorable art and animation. I had a blast dashing, sliding, and flying through the fast-paced levels, and it gave me many smiles. I can tell a lot of love was put into this game! :)
