Fun, simple 2D platformer video game , but extremely hardcore games that will consume all your wisdom and patience (trap adventure like game if you know what i mean, XD). Mechanics are easy and the jump is more controllable which reminded me of mario video games. 6 levels with a total of 12 gems in the game, each gem opens a new funny and simplified character . Overall the game is good and encouraging considering being develped by one person. take in note that this game is a hardcore game style that will require your full talent capacity and your fast reflexes to beat the game and collect the gems. Here are my stats in the game: 1- wardrobe characters: 10/10 2- Levels: 6/6 3- Gems collected: 10/12 4- Deaths: 629 5- Level 1 Best: 9.28s 6- Level 2 Best: 20.71s 7- Level 3 Best: 11.17s 8- Level 4 Best: 11.66s 9- Level 5 Best: 9.11s 10- Level 6 Best: 59.39s I hope this review helped 😊😊

Good for fans of masochism. Controlling the slime doesn't feel particularly smooth -- it could have used quite a bit more polish to make it feel better to play. Also, the default keyboard controllers are pretty bad, and the inability to rebind them is not great either. All that being said... I did finish it, and then go through it a second time to collect all the gems, so I guess it was a good game? Something about it certainly captured me, despite all the jank.

"Slime Trials" is an extremely badly made precision/rage platformer... yes, yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere just by existing. What do you do in the game? Basic platforming, although the levels are designed to be exceedingly difficult. Which is really irrelevant because nobody played this anyway. Heck, all the reviews for the game are joke reviews or slapped together with ChatGPT. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say th…

This 2D platformer delivers an engaging and exciting experience that will challenge players with a true test of skill and patience. With a trap adventure style, it’s a perfect fit for hardcore gaming enthusiasts. The user-friendly mechanics and jumping controls hark back to the classic vibes of Mario games, making it accessible yet still demanding. The game is structured around six levels, each filled with a dozen gems to collect. Gathering these gems unlocks a range of funny and simplistic characters, adding an extra layer of fun to the experience. It's truly impressive to see the creativity and effort of a single developer come to life in such a motivational way. However, be warned: this game embraces a hardcore style that calls for top-notch skills and lightning-fast reflexes to collect all those gems. Despite a few minor quirks, it delivers plenty of enjoyment. Having completed the game, I found the movement mechanics to be quite satisfying. That said, I did experience a few glitches, like being shot straight from the start to the finish portal when resetting. If these bugs are ironed out and the menu system gets a bit of a polish, this game could reach new heights in enjoyme…

Great platformer game. If you played Celeste even only up to Chp 2 this is easy and doable. Slime is so cute (◕‿◕)
