About Real Life Plus Ver. Kaname Komatsuzaki

Real Life Plus Ver. Kaname Komatsuzaki is a game that lets you enjoy life interacting and growing up with Kaname Komatsuzaki, a childhood friend of protagonist, Kouichi.

The game is strewn with short segments that explore their relationship with the choices made at each step which alter their lives as they spend their youth with each other. The story is 100% dialog and from the start in 1999 to the present day, everything from the subject matter to the backgrounds are linked to each period in the game. With each choice, Kaname’s mannerisms and even things such as her choice of clothing and hairstyle will change as well.

The natural voice work by voice actress Sakazaki Mao also helps to bring a realistic feeling to the game as well.

Features

  • Voiced in Japanese
  • Multiple endings
  • Choices determine what type of person Kaname becomes
  • Kaname is voiced by Sakazaki Mao
  • Beautiful character art by Konsu Konsuke

I think this game is worth it when buying in a huge discount. The Artwork is nice and cute. The story build-up is good and make you feel attach for the relationship in some points, especially if you don't often play VN or sim date games before. But the story is wayyyyyyy too short. There should be 5 more special events, compare to various amount of endings to it. With the 18+ DLC that you will get for free. I decided to give it a thumbs up. It's still alot better than ugly CG games from the west side, which is more hardcore, in a rough way.

I didn't count, but tracks lack a bit in number in my opinion as well as backgrounds. The visual style is not bad, but can't say that I am a fan of it. Some endings were quite strange and I would want to know more about parts that developers decided to leave as holes in the plot (for example, there can be a situation when a girl cheats on you and there is no explanation for why she did that, did someone rape her, or she did it intentionally or non intentionally, curious) Overall, I will say that the early years and mid-school time were quite funny while the late years seemed the most interesting part to me, but anyway, the game is good and I would say that it is worth playing.

I like it. I can see myself play this over and over again.

Honestly never seen a VN do a story this way. Though short, and even shorter if you breeze through it, it has alot of moments that could lead to many many different endings. The only thing that really suffers is how fast the relationship moves. I could imagine this being a full 40hr+ VN with this concept. Start as kids and build all the way up to adulthood while working through a childhood relationship. It's nice and it would really be better if longer. Decent artwork with a gallery way too big for it's own good that has slight variations to the same image. Steam censored version with an R18 patch floating around on the internet

A short choice game. Every choice is important to get a different ending. I got all of them now. I didn't get the ending 13 myself because it's really hard for me, so I saw a guide to get it. But except that ending, I got everything myself. I hope there's another version of this game beside Kaname. Oh and I don't really fancy the voice actor, she sounded a bit lack of practice? Like the expression didn't come out as expected. But other than that I have no complaint.
