Jamie Last (changeable name) has spent the last couple weeks on a summertime high. At eight-years-old, nothing is better than what feels like endless days of school-less adventures, especially when you live walking distance from the beach. While coming home under a scorching sunset one fine evening, Jamie is approached by a stranger. The man is looking for a kid who can do him a favor, and he’s even offering to pay for it. He wants Jamie to please be friends with his only child. The person is Mr. Holden, Jamie’s new neighbor, as well as the father of the odd, and oddly named boy, Cove. Whether Jamie wants to play along or not, Cove isn’t going anywhere. He's present in Jamie's life for far longer than they ever would've guessed.
And then the long days of vacation finally come to an end. Summer may not be able to last forever, but Jamie can take comfort in knowing it will come back again someday…

Never needed that damn money
This was a super cute game - total slice of life that was cozy and romantic! I love that it was LGBTQ+ friendly and it had lots of vaired options of dialogue choices and customization! I do really wish there was voice actors for the cast of characters as sometimes my eyes just glaze over the text but otherwise it was really great! Thank you for making it free to to play! I'm definitiely gonna look at the DLCs now! If you're looking for a cozy, sweet dating sim this is the one for you!

One of my favorite and one of my first visual novels !! I think the story is really immersive and gives the player a lot of options to choose from as you progress, i love it so much :3
I have replayed this game so many times and even purchased some of the DLC! It is one of the best visual novels I've ever played and even makes me cry at the end every time. As the phases of the game go on, you genuinely feel like you are growing up with these characters. You start the game as a young child and progress to adulthood and it feels realistic. As you grow up with Cove and Elizabeth and their families, you witness the changes and growth these characters go through right until the end. Though the town this game takes place in is a fictional place, it begins to feel real: neighbors come and go, you and Cove volunteer to contribute to the community, and the time spent on the beach is just so beautiful. When the game ended with the characters growing up and eventually saying goodbye to their home, I cried. Letting go of childhood was hard enough in real life and I had to do it all over again in this game. I absolutely love the great lengths the game goes through to customize your character: from body details such as scars, birthmarks, height or if you've had top surgery or not, to pronouns and sexual orientation, all of these minute details are mentioned throughout the g…
