WOW, what to say about this game......ill keep it short, its TERRIBLE! Controls are bad, story is bad, the way the punches etc are thrown are bad...just plain brutal. Dont even waste 10 cents on thius junk! And shame on steam for putting this under "More like this" with games like MK and street fighter!

Cruz Brothers, developed and published by DCF Studios, is a 2D fighting game that blends arcade-style combat with a revenge-driven narrative centered on underground boxing culture. Rather than positioning itself purely as a competitive fighter, it attempts to weave story and character motivation into its progression structure. The result is a game that combines traditional side-view combat with a gritty tale of redemption, ambition, and personal loss. The storyline follows Marcus Luz, a disgraced boxing coach whose reputation collapses after his star fighter is killed by a ruthless gang leader. Seeking redemption and vengeance, he trains the Cruz brothers—Felipe and Igor—hoping to rise through the ranks of underground fighting circuits and reclaim honor. The narrative unfolds through comic-book-inspired cutscenes and dialogue panels that give context to each match. Gameplay revolves around classic 2D fighting mechanics. Players engage in one-on-one or t…

I like the characters and the art direction, things were a little hard to work out to begin with and the fighting seemed kinda unbalanced, I was on the easiest mode against the first guy and he smacked the crap out of me before I could fight back (I did win though thanks to a hard to land dash punch), I haven't spent much time in the game but other reviews mentioned that all characters are just alternate skins which is kind of disappointing, if more work is put into tightening up the controls and maybe differentiating the characters more it could be a really fun game, as it currently stands, I'd lean toward no, unless there is a good sale on. Here is the video of my little brother and I trying it out https://youtu.be/lSt-5GuDtd8
