I have played Strip Fighter 5 Chimpoco Edition previously and similarly to that game, my recommendation would be to purchase the game when on a discount, this game is cheaper but I think that could be partly because of the smaller roster of characters compared to chimpoco, the smaller roster is due to this game being meant to be more of a celebration of the different series that StudioS has up to this point, well kinda, there's some characters who come back from Chimpoco, so it's limited to a smaller roster each slot being for a rep of the different games. Thankfully the 18+ patch is free to download unlike MusuFight which I didn't get for that reason, this game similarly to that one boasts about a simpler game feel which I think is true, combos do come out a lot easier, so it's easy to get into. The art and the music in the game are prety good, they're very nice looking and honestly looks a lot more appealing than Chimpoco, if you didn't like the flash animated feel in that game, this one looks a lot different, it's done in the same engine however. As for the specifics of the patch, this time you can actually do finishers on every character, cept for the guys cuz that would be …11 found this helpful
A+B+C to go back to menu should be in the pause menu that's the only complaint I can think about these some hot pixles 😂6 found this helpful
Game Length: 1Hours+ Just like any other fighting games 5/5 Story: Again like any other fighting games. Some warped world with the best fighters from various games and fighting to return to their world. 3/5 Gameplay: Definitely some NeoGeo Mark of the Millenium stuff Pretty cool and pretty fun! Supports 2 players as well but havent tried with 2 controllers. 5/5 Art: Good Pixel Stuff. Patch required. 5/5 Grand Total: Kinda high, could be lower honestly. 9/10 Games pretty fun, kinda reminds me of SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millenium. Not missing out much if you get it now or later. Fighting games are pretty simple after all! Nice set of CGs. Recommend!4 found this helpful
The enemies are pretty strong, but we just weak as ♥♥♥♥. Despite this game is somewhat hard, its sex scenes are very repetitive and tedious. Not even feel worth it, and you always have some other better choice to buy. Just don't buy this.2 found this helpful
Is it great? No. Is it good? Yes, but only if you like a bit choppy NeoGeo Pocket Color fighting games. It’s doesn’t play as smooth as a real NGPC or even GBC fighting game, but it will scratch an itch if you don’t own such games or you don’t want to use emulators. I give it score of: 5/7 “no Mai no buys”. It works of Steam Deck and has pixel boba in it.
Nice lil game
