What is T.A.R.S?
T.A.R.S is a challenging 3rd person objective based horror shooter. You will need to navigate an open world environment, which is set just off the coast of the British isles on a remote island. You will need to use your mini-map to locate objective points and must survive against dangerous creatures while exploring.
You have limited ammo, few checkpoints and formidable enemies that kill you in 1 hit, your skills will be pushed to the limit.
Can you survive?
STORY
It is the year 2051, a disease has swept across the planet infecting over 90% of the population. At first only flu like symptoms appeared, but then to the horror of everyone, people started to change. At first in their behaviour and then physically changing into an unknown creature, which we now all fear.
It was at this point T.A.R.S (Tactics and rescue specialists) was formed, with one goal, save humanity.
YOUR ROLE
You will take on the role of Samantha, Sam was previously a nurse and recently recruited by T.A.R.S to become a medic. You have limited combat training, but there's no time to spare.
You are about to embark on your very first mission and have been assigned to a T.A.R.S squad. You will need to be aware of your surroundings at all times if you have any hope of surviving.

[b][i]Bad things:[/i][/b] Well it is a game made in unity full of unity assets. So almost everything is 3D but grass is 2D. The voice acting is terrible and super bland. It is just hard to spot enemies as the whole game is dark and they don’t really make a sound if they are more than 5 meters away from you. Also you die in 1 hit and there are no checkpoints. The monsters have no animation of attack, only the walking animation and if they get close you die. The trees are moving like there is a strong wind blowing all the time while the grass moves like there is a light breeze all the time. Enemies are bullet sponges so you are never sure if you hit or miss and how many shoots you need to kill them. Enemies bodies disappear a few seconds after they are killed. You are also much slower than the monsters. The story is just a weak boring meh. The whole game is just you running from point A to point B and killing enemies along the…24 found this helpful

T.A.R.S is an exceptional... so long as you close your eyes, even then, the screeches of the creatures are probably the most annoying sound effect I've ever heard. That being 60 cents on sale, I cant really a negative review... but I will anyways. I think(?) that I beat the entire game in my 0.9 hours, and even that felt like too somehow. Honestly the game is okay, but I would not recommend this to anybody because its genuinely not worth your time. 4/10 just because it has voice acting2 found this helpful

This game requires focusing alot, death can come from any side. 1 single touch and you are dead haha. It reminds me a bit of the horror movie cult classic "Dog Soldiers", although the map is on an island. I quite enjoyed 100%-ing this game, but finding the (spider) gave me to much trouble roaming around the map hahaha. Game is smooth and no bugs reported.
