About Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled

Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled is a massive overhaul of the original game, bringing in sweeping balance changes to the combat and life simulation systems as well as adding in a whole heap of quality of life improvements. There’s even 5 new boss fights! It’s the same great RPG as before, without the horrific nigh-unusable interface from the original that haunted my every waking moment as a game developer for years!

Alluna and Brie is a standalone story set directly after the events of Max's Big Bust - A Captain Nekorai Tale. Play as Brie, a spunky pink haired girl who recently gained the ability to magically summon cheese sandwiches out of thin air. That’s it. It’s literally her only power.
AnB:RT is heavily inspired by the Persona series, and features an in-depth time management system. You’ll need to keep an eye on Brie’s mood while you’re working through each chapter’s dungeon, and if you play your cards right you can pursue a relationship with one of 10 potential love interests! Alluna and Brie ReTentacled is a massive 40hr RPG filled with tonnes of content, if you enjoy party based JRPGs or have played any of our other games set int the shared Axon City universe then you’re bound to love this game.

Features:
 • Five Massive Chapters to play through, each with unique dungeons to explore and terrifying bosses to conquer. And ReTentacled adds five new bosses as well!
 • Strategic Turn Based Combat. Choose a team from a roster of eight magical girls, each with their own skills and strengths, and battle over forty unique enemy types. Combat has been completely rebalanced for ReTentacled!
 • A cast of over sixty unique characters, and a dozen ridiculous outfits for Brie to wear.
 • Ten different love interests to date, including a pirate, an octopus girl and a busty police officer with flame elemental powers.
 • Explore Axon City for the first time! Axon City features six districts and over two dozen different shops to buy from. There's even a day/night and weather cycle which changes what stores and activities are available.
 • Play the insect collecting and battling minigame InsectiVirus on your GameCore, or watch the news program Max Heart Minute to find out which store is having a sale. There's a new episode to watch every single in-game day! And InsectiVirus has been reworked in ReTentacled too!
 • Visit three Holiday Towns and eat a massive variety of Australian foods, from dim sims and sausage rolls to fairy bread and lamingtons. Head to the pub to grab a chicken schnitty and a beer for lunch, or live exclusively off expensive coffee! The choice is yours.
 • Take part in Mermaid Spikers matches, an RPG sports minigame with a mermaid themed twist! Mermaid Spikers in the original game was a buggy mess that made me question all of my life decisions leading up to that point, but in ReTentacled it’s actually fun! It’s like Blitzball from Final Fantasy except you control a team of cute little mermaid girls.

I like the writing for the most part and the combat isn't bad, but the rpg systems are severely lacking. There is no way to check stat changes when selecting equipment until you have equipped it, plus the equipment is just in a single long list with latest aquisitions at the bottom and no separation based upon the 3 categories (you choose weapon, armour, and accessory during the same session from the same list that's awkward to navigate). There is also no way to view stats such as resistances or currently available moves for a character (as far as I can tell) until you are in combat. Additionally, two more gripes I have with the barebones rpg system are that you can't swap party members during combat despite having no way to know in advance what resistances the enemies in your next fight will have, and more importantly, despite only being allowed to have 4 of the 8 characters in your active party, only the active members at the end of combat (which is also excluding anybody who was defeated and still down at the end of an encounter) will actually gain experience, which inevitable means that with no way (again, as far as I can tell, since I'm only in chapter 3 of the story) to grind…

Very cute RPG featuring TF/TG Themes, very Persona coded in time and relationship management.

At first I was weary of the time management and battle mechanics, I just wanted to read another visual novel set in this really cool setting. Over time it grew on me and reading all the scenes for all the characters was a treat. I just love the story lines of these games and how they fit together.

This review concerns Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled, a comprehensive improvement update to the original Alluna and Brie to bring the overall experience closer to parity with Lach's second RPG. ----- Alluna and Brie Re-Tentacled is an improved version of Lached Up Game's second release. It serves as a narrative sequel to Max's Big Bust despite not featuring Max as the primary protagonist. The billing this time goes to Alluna and Brie, two magical girls who get recruited by Axon City's young Magical Response Unit (MRU) to fight off monster girl invaders from a portal called a Frakk. One of these was opened in the climax to the previous game, and they've been popping up here and there ever since. While Alluna has a pretty standard "power of the Moon" power set, Brie's "magical girl" powers are actually the result of a curse and her only power is to summon cheese sandwiches out of thin air. Sandwiches that are convienently both delicious and capable of curing fatal wounds, just in case you thought the whole magical invasion thing meant that this game would be less silly. The writing here is a notable improvement over the previous game. While the mostly self…

Really fun and funny game it doesn’t take itself seriously like west of loathing or neptunia and it takes place in Australia so the Australian lingo and humor is really funny There’s way more cursing then neptunia they say the f word a lot but it’s so over done that it’s funny. The charcters like neptunia are funny and you can’t wait to do there side events or advance the story because it’s fun and funny and entertaining. The music is cute like neptunia. It’s similar if neptunia took place in Australia and didn’t break the fourth wall as much as neptunia does. The dungeons are pretty simple and the gameplay. The npcs are quite funny to especially the equipment shop toward the beginning. The story is hard to explain like neptunia it’s kinda zany and a crazy story but really cute also. I would look into this if you like neptunia or west of loathings humor. Iam just about done with the main story but now Iam working on the side events there’s 10 characters you can talk to and get their heart meter up for different events. Which are just as funny as the main story. Remember neptunia was really funny from the optional side events and charcters you could talk …
