Lady Archer is invited to Egypt to see the priceless treasure of King Tutankhamun by her friend Lord Carnarvon. She arrives to find her dear friend murdered and the mask of Tutankhamun stolen. She must then try to solve the murder and find the missing mask! Collect evidence, examine clues, and solve harrowing riddles as you inch closer to the truth. Can you help Lady Archer to solve this case?

Search for clues and missing objects to discover who’s murdered Emily’s friend Lord Carnarvon and find the missing treasure of Tutankhamun. With puzzles round every corner players are also challenged to take on thrilling mini-games. The great gameplay is complemented by beautiful backgrounds and an engrossing soundtrack.

An older game where all the scenes are only H.O. scenes. And mini-games sprinkled in between. Good. Used to it and I thought the mystery was fun! XD I'd rather have/play this game than some nowadays mystery (and other) games. -.-" Also: If you are seeking to refill your "Hints", find an "Ankh". I once found two. ^^" Andddddddd... Unfortunately tedious. Despite the intrigue inherent in the setting, Death on the Nile the story ain't. The pattern of the game is as follows: Hidden Object screen, dialogue, minigame puzzle, repeat as needed. The object names are not always correct in scenes, the speaker is not always labeled correctly during dialogue, and at times the minigame takes upwards of 20 minutes to pass even with optimal moves taken. Fortunately, every minigame can be skipped immediately, or after one step is taken towards the solution. I skip Senet every time it comes up due to its status as "worse than pulling teeth." I can excuse flaws in older HOGs, but I've played MUCH older HOGs than this one that were far more engaging. I would estimate that I'm close to the end (please, please let me be close to the end) and there has been no sense of real detective work or even early questions getting answered - just more twists in the tale. It's a passable HOG, but not good and not recommended.2 found this helpful
Not even worth the $1.74 I paid. Hidden object scenes are used repeatedly, and some puzzles which seem impossible are unskipable. Not worth finishing. Usually I'm not this annoyed with a game, but I'd say skip this one for sure.1 found this helpful
