Thanks for giving me the "Game Over" screen? Did they all freaking die or something? (Note: Actually I found out from another player that this game is missing a Chapter... Because this ain't the Collector's Edition...) That means it's time to make our own sheet up!!!!!! That aside... I, myself, me, me, just me... I actually liked the H.O.G. Sure it was short... Missing a Chapter... And the items were rather hard to see in some parts, but...! I liked the individual equipment the other characters had... Even though I didn't even need to use 'em lol. I liked going through the pyramid/temple and finding stuffs. It was a rather relaxing experience... But I wasn't fully zoned out... So something there kept my interested, hmm... I only recommend this game to myself and other people who need to play EVERY... SINGLE... H.O.G. in existence. Otherwise? Seriously... Where is the last Chapter at? (And did anyone actually try the "3D glasses mode"? I've never come in contact with such an item in real life and do not own a pair.)2 found this helpful
It's a pretty short HOG. It is not visually appealing, but it has innovative elements brought to the HOG genre that I have not yet encountered in other games of this genre. Enjoy.1 found this helpful
That was AMAZING GAME: I DID IT : YU UUUUUUU
so for £0.67 on sale, it was cheap and fun. the missing chapter for a collectors edition is inexcusable tho. charming enough, nice art but low resolution. music was ok. story serviceable. short
Old, simple but very well crafted HOG with some cool mechanics like different characters that have different tools to help solve the puzzles At one point
the characters get separated and you play their individual chapters, choosing the order
. Tho its old it still looks great and, together with good soundtratcks, creates a great atmosphere to the point i want to rewatch old Mummy movies from Universal and Hammer =D Its not a colector edition, so no extras or bonus chapter, i recommend on a sale
A few things. This game is dated. It doesn't run properly in full screen on my 4k monitor. In windowed mode its so small you can't see it, and in 'full screen' mode it only takes up a quarter of the screen, which was better than nothing. The voice acting in this hidden object adventure game was actually good, but like most early days hidden object adventure games, the quality of the hidden object scenes is severely lacking. Often its hard to make out what is even in the scenes. For its time it would have been pretty good. The other downside, is the game was extremely short. I beat it in under 2 hours and that was with me being distracted for a bit. It is super short even for hidden object adventure games, where I can usually spend 3-4 hours in one. But, as a purveyor of hidden object adventure games, this was was good for what it was, and the time it was made. It wouldn't hold up by todays standards.
