Spare Parts: Episode 1

Super sweet, with couple horrible feeling moments. Has some cool bits. Happy there is a second episode to continue.

i already quite liked the original version, but after the update its a million times more cohesive with episode 2. fantastic job sophie, theo, and ruby!

Reviewing this now after the rewrite and getting a bunch of my friends into it The rewrite does a lot for an already very charming VN! I'd recommend playing it with a few friends so you can theorize and react as you go (particularly for Episode 2). If I have any issues with Ep1, it's the early narration. A lot of the time, you'll be screaming at Lucy to lock the ♥♥♥♥ in, but please try not to let that put you off too much. Also, this is free on itch! I bought it on steam afterwards to support the dev because I liked it so much

I've fallen in love with this series incredibly quickly - this is such a strong introduction, with an endlessly endearing cast of characters, gorgeous art, and superb writing. Reading this was a gem of an experience where I lamented the close of every chapter because I didn't want the story to end. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

10/10. Queer, neuro-diverse, found family. So much cuteness, realness, and soul. If you like visual novels or don't mind an interactive story with no gameplay or decision points, its a must-play. This series is a hidden gem and will find its place as one of the best western VNs
