Funko Fusion

I saw the mixed feedback for this game, and decided to go into the game with an open mind. After 11 hours of playing, I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. The game really does capture the LEGO game style but the puzzles are more difficult and it's clearly meant to appeal to a more mature audience. I think the thing that really stands out is all the references included. The game really feels like a love letter to pop culture, and I am not just saying that. I can really tell the devs put a lot of effort into the game and it is a shame the game was so poorly received at launch. At the time of playing this, I am yet to experience a significant issue with the game. I think the main gripe that people had is the bugs and crashes and, while I can see that the game isn't the most optimised, it ran really smoothly for me so I can't really complain about it. I hope this review helps out people who are on the fence about getting the game because I feel like this game is really enjoyable and deserves a second chance like Cyberpunk 2077 got.

keeps crashing and there is no optimization

FWIW I really want to like this game (mechanically the shooting is decent and I love the nostalgia aspects) but I seriously cannot even beat the first mission without constantly referring to YouTube videos. There is zero direction or any clue to the objectives. Yes I could constantly reference walkthroughs but in my opinion that isn't fun. I even restarted the game, game gave me a different first mission and it still was setup the exact same way (zero direction, hints, clues, etc) so I can only assume every mission in this game is the same; you blindly stumble around for 2 hours until you figure out what random thing you're supposed to do. Or you have a tablet sitting next to you the entire time with a YouTube video queued up so that guide can handheld you to find some random switch that you didn't even know you were looking for hidden on the back side of a random pillar, because that switch unlocks a door, you also weren't even looking to open, so you can finally access a wheel to attach to a 3rd thing you didn't know existed, so you can finally access some random area that was blocked off by fire. Rinse and repeat every 5 minutes dozens of gameplay hours.... Or so I assume. …
