Luna's Room

I wish you could post neutral reviews on Steam, but you can't so here's why I gave it a thumbs down. Good parts: - The story explores very heavy themes not normally breached at all in mainstream gaming. It does this with skill and presents a gripping, cathartic experience. Bad parts: - Literally everything else - The puzzles are extremely simplistic - The game has little content, I was able to complete it in less than an hour - Controls were dissatisfactory at best - The graphics are meh I would describe it like this: a sub-par game with a raw and gripping story I was personally moved by. If it was better in any other area I could recommend it, but it's appeal is just a little niche.

I picked this up last night as part of the Fanatical Build Your Own Killer Bundle (Fall 2026). It can be played through in around an hour and has very low system requirements, which made it exactly what I was looking for: a short game to play on my Steam Deck before bed without having the fan going crazy. Out of the five games I bought in the bundle, this is the first one I played, and I really enjoyed it. The story is bittersweet and deals with themes surrounding death, so that may be triggering for some players. Personally, I thought it was handled well, and I would recommend giving it a try if you're comfortable with those themes. Kudos to the pixel art and the music, which both do a great job of setting the mood. I also thought the game did a great job of capturing the attitude of a cat. If you've ever lived with one, some of its behaviour will probably feel very familiar! Like a lot of point-and-click adventure games, though, it has that one moment where everything is going great until you're completely stuck on one tiny thing. For me, that was the mould on the wall. Good Game

Luna's Room is a short point and click adventure game in the PowerQuest engine. Nice, sad story about solving a mystery and deciding where to go next. Good soundtrack and art. The main number puzzle is a bit obtuse but I figured it out eventually.

Great animation and great story telling but sadly it was very short. Complete the game with just 1 hour. Glad bought it from fanatical bundle with only 1 dollar. So I guess that's fair price

A nice little (very little) one-room point & click adventure. Worth playing.
