Traditional frame by frame character animation
12 frames per second, 3 layers per frame. Over 250 animations and 20 minutes of cinematics. A nostalgic and time-consuming process - but really worth the challenge for a small indie team of four.
Single player mode with dual character control
Solve puzzles from different perspectives. Discover a story of true courage with two playable characters drawn together through an inseparable bond.
Think outside of the box
Spark your imagination and solve a wide variety of puzzles, presented in gorgeous hand-drawn environments. Puzzles work standalone, requiring no 'hidden items' or player backtracking.
LESS reading, MORE cinematics
We replaced a dialogue system with a series of beautifully hand-animated cinematics telling a mysterious story.
Engaging Original Soundtrack
Our composer created an original soundtrack, designed to immerse the player in the emotional highs and lows of the story, kindling goose-bumps along the journey.

It was a short puzzle game. The game, the story, and especially the music were all wonderful. The atmosphere pulled me in from start to finish, and everything worked together to tell a touching story. The puzzles were well designed and not frustratingly difficult, but satisfying to solve without needing to look up hints. This game is definitely worth playing.13 found this helpful

Sure, if you're looking for a low-stakes cozy game with pretty artwork and a cute animal companion. A lot of other puzzles are pretty monotonous, though. More time is spent going back and forth than actually solving puzzles, and some of the achievements are counted weirdly so they aren't ones you'd stumble upon easily in regular game play (e.g., not just going through a door 20 times... but specifically the *wrong* door 20 times....?) But walking in the shadows was fun. So. There's that.1 found this helpful
LUNA: The Shadow Dust is a beautiful point and click adventure game about climbing up a tower with your little cat-creature-companion to try and piece together what happened (wow you have amnesia) before reaching the top and restoring light to a world shrouded in darkness. LUNA has some great somber, heartfelt, exciting, mystical, and mysterious harp, orchestral, choral and piano ballads that provide a rich soundscape to back up the wonderful artstyle. The game of course also makes use of one of my favorite point and click puzzle games mechanics of making the music slowly build as you solve the puzzle in each room. LUNA's world is brimming with secrets proven by many of the achievements. Luna is also full of murals or frescos that light up as you solve various puzzles that make good use of the two characters you inhabit along the journey. Also of note is that LUNA has some animated cutscenes interspersed throughout the game that tell the vague, nonverbal tale and show a bit more action and drama than the standard point and click gameplay. The rooms and each of their puzzles were creative and interesting with concepts from cooking to seasonal time manipulation to one of the game's c…1 found this helpful
Lovely game with amazing visuals. Puzzles are quite solvable and the story is really beautifull. Totally recomended if you like point and click games.
One of the first games I played in this new gamer chapter of my life, and it completely blew me right out of the water with its gorgeous story and beautiful visuals. The puzzles are not difficult at all with a couple of exceptions.
