I thoroughly enjoyed my limited time with this game, I was particularly impressed by the art and authenticity of the era it's trying to replicate. I don't know if this was intentional, but as someone with a lifelong fear of mascots this really unnerved me.

the fourth level was the first time i audibly screamed at a jumpscare, i think i just ♥♥♥♥ my pants.

These are just my first impressions but the game is a lot better than I was honestly expecting it to be. It has an actual story, with real atmosphere, and dialogue, and ♥♥♥♥ to read. Way more than I was expecting. My only real complaint is no arrow signifying direction faced on the map. Everything else seems really solid.

pretty good game, just discovered this today while looking to see if bad toys 3D ever went up for sale on steam. fairly faithful to the vibe and art style of the game it's inspired from. had that same off putting feel in the first few levels and the level design only gets more intriguing as you go on. looking forward to finishing the game. thanks for the hard work you did!

I have to say, I was really enjoying this game for the first World; the creativity of the designs, the built in ways to confirm you killed all enemies and found all secrets before you finished a level, the slight horror undercurrent. However, the stalker enemies need some work. These enemies don't just damage you, they grab you if you get within a certain distance and put you back to the last checkpoint. This would be fine, but they are a regular occurrence, and will often get stuck on level geometry and their catch radius can completely bar you from progressing, outside of restarting the level and hoping you get lucky this time. This on top of secret completion being locked behind the hardest difficulty makes this one hard to recommend.
