As it turns out, maybe real time card battlers aren't fun. Well at least not this one.

Barely playable for steam deck: the splash screen does not render properly, you can play with touch screen or with trackpad but not with directional arrows. I have not found the settings to remap the buttons. The game itself seems fun and has this old Newgrounds energy I really like. Shame it's frustrating to play in its current state on steam deck.

Bought this game in the multiplayer madness bundle on humble bundle - the co-op doesnt even work. I was seeing a different screen as my partner, and if that is meant to happen, it isnt explained. Also, i didnt enjoy the main aspect - fast battles with cards. I felt it lost the big positives of deck-builders (satisfaction of building big combos) as I felt rushed to playing cards, loosing the satisfaction of perfectly played, planned combos

Fun in concept, but it isn't really what it makes it self out to be. I tried the demo a bunch and thought it was okay, but I thought the game would be better based off of the reviews. It was a lot better than the demo thankfully, but it's not the deck builder vibe-thing it sets it out to be, its more of a resource management auto battler. Which is fine, it's just not what I was hoping. Cards get deleted the moment you play them, which means in order to do combos or be strategic, you have to horde cards for the right moment, and if you mess up, it's tough luck. Lastly its very RNG dependent. Many characters have instant revive attacks that just keep reviving, which is stuff since you can't tell when they'll stop reviving, you don't know when to use your cards. Some times I've died from having no block, but the card rewards never gave me any. Card rewards can also give you worse options (Offering wood armor when you have diamond, ect.) completely eliminating a choice. They do have a fun quick to choose event system though. Lastly boss relics are super fun, but they are either: - Do a bijillion damage when you get block! - Revive once per fight! (Up to 10 times a floor) Or - D…

I was really enjoying the game but it kept crushing on me...i had 2 crushes in under 1 hour. Mind you, i wasn't even in a battle. I was buying upgrades and it just crushed...I don't recommended the game
