What is RUNGORE
Have you ever dreamt about a world where you don't need to follow arbitrary rules of your favorite card game? Like, making turns, or use a finite amount of manaenergyAP or whatever. If you answered "yes" then I have a treat for you :)RUNGORE: Beginner Experience is heavily inspired by Slay The Spire and Loop Hero. It takes all the good parts from those games and smashes them together until they stick.
This version is a prologue for the full game, and its features are:
- Idle battles (very exciting)- Non restricted card-play. Have you ever wanted to play 100 cards during one encounter? Well, now you can
- 3 heroes with different strategies for each one to explore
- 3 levels to assert dominance over random mobs
- Psychopathic tutorial guide

"RUNGORE: Beginner Experience" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Rungore". Rungore is a 2D retro pixel mobile-app tier ripoff of Slay the Spire but with worse graphics and a realtime element that doesn't make the experience any better. It's from the shovelware pushers at GrabTheGames, so it's no surprise this has Temu like quality levels. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Rungore, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "RUNGORE: Beginner Experience" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $15 USD on buying Rungore, and I don't recommend you do that either. The pixel-based graphics are stunning. The card-based combat is captivating. The difficulty level is well-balanced, neither too easy nor too challenging, requiring some thought. The music is excellent
