The movement and overall flow of the game is so stiff and clunky. You'd expect a platform game to be smooth, but I find myself getting irritated at something as simple as a Jumping Platform that is a 50/50 chance of actually yeeting me upwards. The artwork is really pretty though and the story is nice. So I would recommend the game on sale.

I'd say this game is good overall but not a great game. I really like the characters, story, worldbuilding, art, and even some of the combat. It took a long time to hit it's stride and I had to accept a bit of monotony and backtracking. While the music is good, this is a great game to just turn on a video essay to and play in the background. Wish I could have gotten every achievement but by the end I was a bit burnt out.

Short and sweet. Nothings too difficult, the combos are satisfying, I enjoy the customization. I wish a hard mode was accessible from the start, and I wish there where more interesting side quests. The story is great, and not what I first thought it was gonna be (positive). If this is on sale and you like games like nine sols or MIO I'd pick this up.

I had a really great time with this game. While the gameplay is fun, it really shine with its characters, world desing and the story. I fell in love with the characters as I was playing and I found the story to be heartwrenching. Nothing could have prepared me for how much I would love these characters. While I'll definitely miss this first playthrough experience, I'll still be sure to revisit this game in the future!

The best written metroidvania on the market. Was not in great shape at launch, but I absolutely loved playing it since the last patch in April 2026. Super fun combat if not all that challenging, great traversal abilities, some weird design choices sure but mostly remedied by just knowing to explore the mall asap. Loved it.
