Darxanadon

Really janky. Constant little quirks and glitches. Terrible controls. Terrible default button mapping, why is confirm the top button? Horrid combat that seems to delight in making you get far too close to enemies that move much faster than you can. First boss is wildly difficult and not in a fun way, just in a frustrating way.

The game is very brief. Don't expect a long difficult adventure like Castlevania II Simon's Quest. I didn't complete Zelda II or Faxanadu but I think this title is shorter. Anyway, you'll love its retro fantasy atmosphere, simple progression and powerups. Recommended for a chill nostalgic afternoon remembering the old days. Some slight control issues.

Has bugs but still worth it. It's a cool game, bit hard and ladders are still odd to use. Had to move up or down in order to move left or right + couldn't jump off em.

quite a fun game highly reccomend, alot of the jank and bugs were fixed with updates, easily worth the 50 cents, id give it a solid 8/10, you get powerful very fast and there is alot of variety

Darxanadon is a very difficult retro Metroidvania game from Scumhead with heavy inspiration from Faxanadu and Zelda 2 and despite the jank hit boxes, the broken annoying ladders, and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ POISON HP DRAINING AREA(seriously that area was the absolute worst & most evil thing in the whole game X_X), I can't argue that I really enjoy this game and worth the 99 cents :D
