[u]The game[/u]: Dead Trash [u]What’s it about?[/u]: A scavenger fights to escape an abandoned, quarantined city overrun with bandits, crazed survivors, and trigger-happy government agents, while slowly uncovering the secret of why the city was quarantined in the first place. [u]How long does it last?[/u]: About 2 ½ hours. [u]What’s the replay value?[/u]: Moderately low. You’ll come back to it once every few years. [u]What works?[/u]: *The game nails the atmosphere and feel of a schlocky, z-grade 1980’s European grindhouse film combined with the low-budget charm of an Indie game. Everything feels dark, dank, dirty, disgusting, greasy, and filthy in a good way. *The comic-panel style story interludes are hilarious and embraces the low-budget style of actors wearing costumes bought from Goodwill for $5 and wielding spray-painted airsoft weapons and whatever props were found around the house on the day of shooting; the final boss’ headgear and incredibly fake mustache, in particular, made me laugh out loud when I first saw them. *While it doesn’t do anything revolutionary, the run-and-gun gameplay is solid and there are a good variety of weapons to use, almost all of wh…

extremely fun, another dosman games banger, if you like condemned criminal origins, 80's slashers, or mucking about in the filth in your grimy gnarly gory shooters, it hits all the right spots, stays interesting aesthetically the entire time introducing something new every level and it actually gets pretty hard the later you get in the game, def recommend
