the game felt grindier than need to be, and the writing was lackluster. i would rather give this a neutral rating, because as far as these games go, it wasn't bad, but i definitely wouldn't recommend it to people either. if the game was a little more lax and the upgrades were cheaper OR if the story was better and less repetitive, i would recommend the game. otherwise it's just very "meh" for me.
