Bullet Girls Phantasia

Third person anime shooter with gooner content. It's a PS Vita port, and not a good one at that. Besides the fanservice, the game is so bland. The story is okay but the rest not so much. The keyboard and mouse controls are awful, you can tell the developers did the bare minium to get it running on a computer. Obviously, the graphics are not going to rival today's aaa titles, it being a handheld game and all, however for something that originally came out in 2018 they are outdated to say the least. The gameplay is very reptitive, it lacks level varity and the levels themselves are boring to look at. The same can be said about the enemies, on top of that the ai is dumb yet they can be annoying, especially when you get stun locked. The weapon combat is managable. I didn't like the drilling sequences either. Unless you have some kind of affinity for this game or just want to jack off to high school girls, I would suggest looking for something else.

Not the worst thing ever spawned by horny otaku, but it's not really recommendable. The good: A bevy of well-animated, well-voiced waifus. The core-gameplay is decent enough, in the same vein as EDF. Difficulty levels. Good Japanese practice, if you're studying. The meh: Loads of upgrades for characters, weapons and clothes, but I'm still unclear how any of it really works. Loot happens, but I'm still confused about what's cosmetic, what's useful, who can equip what and when - it's a mess. Way too much tropey isekai story. So many characters, I don't know how to strategize who plays and who I should level up. The main baddy in the story, a dragon, isn't even given animated cut-scenes - just lazy, poorly drawn stills. The bad: "All characters are 18 or above" message at the start up screen. C'mon guys, really? This isn't college we're talking about, these are obviously high school students. Loading times before battles are egregiously long. Baby's first bondage and impact play reward scenes - i.e. "intensive drilling" - are not only embarrassing, but way too hard, with very little guidance as to how to score high in these cringey mini-games. i like this game, but i dont think i can recommend it. the game is a "slop anime game" thats a little steep in price. D3/SHADE are known for these kinds of games. made cheaply and sold "cheaply" at least over in japan. theyre pretty expensive over here in the US. buying this game on steam is easily not recommended and is a waste of money. but you can get this game on 3rd party key sites for pretty cheap. i think i got this game in a bundle for like $12 so i cant complain too much about the price. the story is fun, but gets super confusing due to it going full time travel and such. the fan service is super heavy here too, like suuuuper heavy. if you have a shame kink then youre in luck cause theres an entire mini game dedicated to it. you can skip it, so if its not at all your thing then you can avoid it. i played two of them and then found out you can skip them and the only thing youre missing out on is some extra gold. the 100% completion for this game is also bonkers. the games HLTB is around 11-12 hours and the completion run is almost 100 hours. once you complete the MSQ the game teases more story content, but the content is locked behind invisible conditions. it gives yo…

I'll keep this brief, because I didn't play for very long. In combat mode I had these ring like graphical glitches, performance wasn't great either on default settings as soon as there were a dozen or so enemies on screen...; and I'm not gonna lower a game with PS Vita graphics to an even lower resolution (which did help somewhat) or tinker for hours just to get rid of those 'rings'. I tried a few things, nothing worked. When a game like Killing Antidote for example runs flawlessly on max settings (which at this point isn't even a finished product btw.) but Bullet Girls Phantasia runs like this, you know it's a terrible port. What a shame... Refunded.

Playing Bullet Girls Phantasia with one hand requires using system-level accessibility remapping, relying on auto-aim/easy difficulty, and optimizing companion/buddy support AI. Fun action game with some decent customisation via clothing and progress upgrades. Also absolutely fantastic ecchi content via drilling and clothing destruction.
