First of all, the gameplay is pretty smooth. The SFX and VFX run perfectly fine. However, I think there are still many things to improve to make the game better: -- There should be clearer guidance in the game. Like u can make the fairy in the dialogue into a small model flying around the player like a tour guide, explaining more specific about what the player is doing, the monster on those orbs on the ground (ex: what is special about each orb?) -- Displaying the current goal/mission/target. I have no idea what I have to do tbh. After unsealing the first wall, the area is so big and I felt lost there. -- Why do you use a key to unseal the wall? I mean you should make a more appropriate item instead to fit the scenario, like a scroll, a rune or even a magic ball. -- Change the terminology. I mean the game has staff, energy orbs and monsters. I bug my eyes when the msg 'no ammo' appears. Does the player use a gun or a staff?1 found this helpful

short, little to no story, jump sounds, enemy sounds (except death sounds) and only one weapon (although this makes sense given the little story we do get). Very nice way to kill some time and well polished for a short fantasy game. maybe in the future we get some quests, a boss or two, more sounds and a tutorial on the elements/orbs1 found this helpful
"Fantasy Quest Prologue" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Fantasy Quest". Fantasy Quest is a really sloppy, badly done Unreal asset flip, a basic FPS minimum viable product with a bunch of assets from the Unreal Marketplace/FAB dumped on it lazily... a Digital Homicide style cash grab. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Fantasy Quest, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Fantasy Quest Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $25 USD (give or take, they keep changing the price desperately) on buying the Fantasy Quest asset flip, and I don't recommend you do that either. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. As an advertisement, this i…
