Bright Memory: Infinite

If Bright Memory were a hand grenade, Bright Memory: Infinite would be a Hydrogen Bomb. Everything is improved at dramatic levels, the good shooting is now excellent, the decent hack 'n' slash is now fantastic, and the great graphics are now gorgeous. The story and universe are still a mess, but now there is a bit of development here and there. Still just an excuse to shoot stuff. The gameplay has been upgraded A LOT. Now we have more weapons, and the weapons have secondary fire modes that can also be upgraded. A lot more skills and upgrades were added, and the sword became a murder machine. As for the levels, it's a mix of Chinese villages and temples, all being sucked out by a black hole. It's always raining and windy, so the scenario's foliage is a joy to look at. I read somewhere that some scenarios and props were scanned and inserted in the game, like Ninja Theory with Hellblade, the results are phenomenal. As for the performance, yeah, not as good as the original. Naturally, the game is much more complex, so it requires much more firepower, however my gripes are regarding UE/DX12 shader stutters and not frames. I received this game for free since I bought the demo/prologue for $5.35 (discounted) back in 2/13/2019. It took me less than 5 hours to beat the game on revenge mode for the first time while dying 14 times. It was fun to play through with its skills, mechanics and weapons/alternate fire. All 4 weapons and their alternate fires feel good. It even has a driving scene and a sneaking level. My game ran well but I had to reset to checkpoint a couple times. The only one that really stuck with me was where I had a bug where I punched an enemy which sent him through a wall. Because of that, I had to reset to the checkpoint since I could not clear the enemies in that zone. Not clearing the enemies means I could not progress to the next area by crawling under the log because the prompt wouldn't show up (since the last enemy did not die). Overall, was worth $5.35 for a night of interesting fun. Most importantly it took me about 5 hours to clear the game so to some it might not be worth $20 but on a discount I'd say it was an interesting fun experience. At this point, I could go through the game on Hell difficulty, just grind out enemies with different weapons for the remaining achievements…

Pretty enjoyable, graphics and gameplay are up to par, especially when compared to the first game. Those cosmetics tho, yikes. All in all, maray na karastahan man.

laggy game i have 5090 but the game still have performance issues

I love the gameplay, able to add mods and the ability to play this game in 3rd Person but It's a buggy ass game.. Story is short and meh. For the price It's aight. 6/10
