Instead, acknowledge the underlying emotion. ‎ ‎Look beyond confusing words to identify the intent or mood. If they ask to "go home" while already there, they may actually be expressing a need for security, comfort, or a sense of belonging. ‎ ‎As verbal skills decline, body language becomes the primary way they understand you. Use a warm smile, maintain gentle eye contact, and offer a reassuring touch (like holding their hand) to convey safety and affection. ‎ ‎Avoid overwhelming them with complex choices or multi-step instructions. This is a powerful piece for empathising for those with dementia.

I would not recommend this game. Spoilers ahead, but my main gripe is with the ending, which strangely seems to romanticize suicide. I also find it a little sad that the story seems to frame the fact that the main narrator didn't want children in a weirdly negative light.
