Magicolors

Magicolors is a low poly/voxel/"Minecraft art" block placement/pathing game where you control a "wizard" and move around small, (barely) 3D rendered grid levels, and shoot across various crystals to "collect" their colours, which you can use to cast other "spells" that move blocks around and so on... it's a bit Sokoban-ish. It's rendered in 3D, but this just makes the game harder to play because there's no freelook etc... this seems to be designed more for mobile phones than PC or console. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The way it displays the board makes it completely unbearable.

Not personally for me, but I can see why people can like this game. I think, due to it being so much 3D (already feels kind of forced), you have to stand on the correct platform and also shoot directly, which could mean, that you stand on the correct platform but 1mm of your spell in that direction, can already mean that you fail and you just shoot until it finally hits, after the 10th time by just moving the mouse a little bit at the same platform. If you like 3D puzzles, then this could work for you.

I appreciate the precise angles you can incorporate into solutions (though I don't think this was on purpose, on a decent amount of maps I can perform better than 3 stars) but the vast majority of this game is contending with the clunky controls and the microscopic iteration between each level, a frustration amplified by a star-ranking system - a fatal blunder in any puzzle game for its brutal discouragement of real experimentation.
