Secrets of Magic 4: Potion Master

[b]secrets of magic 4[/b] plays exactly like the [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/453780]first[/url], [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/713430]second[/url] and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/1351250]third[/url] games in the series, so my review will be very similar as well. not much of a story in this one either but more than in the 3rd game. victoria is still teaching, this time a new student in a spooky forest, the best place for potion ingredients. except they didn't even bring a cauldron and are too lazy to go back to the school for it, so you're playing sugar daddy again, financing all their needs. it includes decorating stuff because that'll surely stand the test of time in the middle of the woods, not to mention how crucial it is from an educational perspective. there's still [b]very little difference from the previous games[/b]. typical match-3 action on [b]100 levels[/b] unlocked one by one, matching 4+ tiles creates various power-ups destroying stuff in different shapes, and there are bottles and keys to bring to the bottom, the latter to unlock more of the level. even though you learned and upgraded everyt…

Recommended if you are looking for an easier version of the other games in this series, or have a young child to play it with or gift it to. This is a much more basic version of the other games in the series. No choices on decorations- you buy them, there is only one _thing_. Again, this is a really good one if you have a young child to play it with or gift it to. Graphics are much more basic. Still quite colorful and creepy cute. The usual Accessibility notes- There is no color-blindness settings options, You'll be dependent on machine system settings, No UI or Text Scaling options. Bright flashy lights and explosion effects that may be an issue for kids or adults with epilepsy or other photo-sensitive neurological conditions. Lots of clicking- can be played with one hand only, but lots of clicking. Puzzles aren't difficult, but can be a bit confusing at times. No achievements or trading cards- this is a time killer game with lots and lots of grind. Still fun to play in short sessions if you don't mind that it is pretty obviously a mobile game ported to PC. This iteration of the game attempts to carry on with the formula from the third game in the series but makes a few additional missteps along the way. First, there is the buggy controller support which causes issues if you would rather play with the mouse. I have found that you must completely disable all game controllers in Windows for the game to not force the controller-sized pointer on you in the game. Also, the developers thought that a low-budget 3-D Unity engine "lobby" for your trophy collection would be a plus, it isn't, and just detracts from the game. And there are still no Steam achievements.

Well, this one got a makeover. It's no longer cartoony, but rather more 3D looking. The goals are simpler and you just decorate the campground. However... The camp ground that you are going to see every time you finish a level? SWAYS CONTINUOUSLY!!!!!! Even during the dialogue!!! YOU CAN STILL SEE IT CONSTANTLY GOING BACK AND FORTH!!! So if you have [b]MOTION SICKNESS[/b] -> You will get rather sick! I lasted 15 minutes before becoming rather nauseous. That said, if you [b]still[/b] wish to attempt it and it will make you sick? [b]Don't[/b] look at the background. [b]Don't[/b] read the story and click blindly. [b]Don't[/b] look at the items for purchase, or at least cover majority of the screen in an attempt to buy one. Remember: once you buy an item -> The camera will zoom in on it and you will be massively dipped into the [u]swaying background[/u]. The levels however, are static, so you will be fine on those.

Very good Match 3 game. I wish it had achievements though (only thing that is missing). If you got some time to waste and like match 3 games, pick this up.

Decent time passer game to relax with. No stand out amazing features, but solid basic gameplay.
