Naught

I would recommend getting this game while it's on sale. It's great, but $19.99 is a little too expensive. I played this game a lot as a kid, and it still holds up.

So, for some reason Naught Reawakening has been removed from Steam by the publisher which is pretty strange, considering that it was a nice game, And now we got this instead. I've done some research and turned out that Naught, in a nutshell, is a remaster of mobile Naught 1 for PC and Naught Reawakening was a remaster of mobile Naught 2 for PC. I dunno whose idea was to do things this way but that is what we have. To begin with, the gameplay didn't change much, so in this regard it is essentially the same game with 40 new levels. However, Reawakening was more appealing in terms of graphics and had much more effects and detailed environments. Of course, this can be justified by the fact that Naught is a remake of the very first game but why couldn't the developers remaster it on the same quality level as the second game. The music did not change much and still fits the tone of the game. Time trial mode has also remained pretty much unchanged, except the introduction of inverted colors, which is a bit controversial decision. And I would easily recommend this game without a doubt for the fans of Naught Reawakening and fans of unordinary platformers if it was not for one single iss…

its good

I bought this out of nostalgia reasons and despite never buying the full game of naught on mobile, i came to really enjoy this. I really like the game atmosphere as it feels oddly comfortable while feeling alien, and the soundtrack along with the sound effects really help amplify that feeling. The gameplay is the highlight of this for me as once I got used to the controls, it felt really fun quickly rotating the world while weaving through obstacles, so much that I wanted to play more even after closing the game. The only minor complaint I have is that I find the gem placement in levels 30 through 39 to be lacking luster as it was too easy to find all of them and/or didn't require taking a risk to get them unlike all the other levels before 30. And my major complaint would have to be the price because despite how much i like it, this game only has around 5 hours of content. and it would make it really hard to justify that to others in terms of recommending it to other people. Other than that, I really enjoyed playing this. And i hope in the near future naught reawakening becomes available again so i could play that too.

This is a fun game to knock out in a weekend. Didn't feel too hard but not too easy either. I hope to see more levels added!
