Disclaimer: My scores/reviews are almost always based on having bought the game at close to the "lowest historical price" on steam at time of purchase. Quick score: 3/5 Things I disliked: The game is pretty basic and repetitive. And visually never changes at all really. There is no way to exit the game outside of alt f4 There is a "bug" with the challenge mode where if you last played story mode in "perfect" mode and then switch to challenge mode, you will still only have 1 life. And the final stage almost made me refund the game out of rage.

Mediocre game with a pathetically bad challenge mode. Boss rush where the bosses are modified from their normal version so you can't practice them at all, and the difficulty balancing is horrendous so you have to spend several minutes fighting completely trivial bosses just to even try to attempt the couple hard bosses that exist once. Amazing example of just because you can add something to your game, really doesn't mean you should, especially if you aren't going to put any time or effort into making it good.

Bouncing Hero is a tightly designed precision platformer developed by ZPink and zniq and published by PsychoFlux Entertainment that builds its entire identity around one bold mechanical choice: your character never stops bouncing. From the moment the game begins, you control a knight mounted on a pogo-like device, perpetually springing upward and downward in rhythmic motion. This single design decision transforms what might have been a conventional 2D platformer into a skill-based challenge that demands timing, anticipation, and mastery of movement momentum. The core gameplay loop revolves around navigating a haunted, multi-floor castle filled with hazards, traps, and enemies. Unlike traditional platformers where players can carefully measure jumps or pause to reassess positioning, Bouncing Hero forces constant motion. Every bounce propels you forward or upward, meaning you must adapt on the fly and think several movements ahead. The absence of a standard jump mechanic reshapes how players approach obstacles. Instead of manually controlling vertical movement, you adjust horizontal positioning and timing to ensure each bounce lands safely. The result is a gameplay rhythm that feels…

This game is another I got help with, as most PsychoFlux games, but this is another decent one. It's very simple, and I would probably say to get it on sale if you can, but if you think the trailer looks like it's up your alley, I can definitely say you should enjoy it. The game isn't really any deeper than it looks though.
