She claims her goal is to slay the Demon Lord and bask in the people’s applause—though her most pressing concern at the moment is snatching up discounted bread.“My name is Lilith, a Magic Swordswoman—good folks like you are rare in Golden Chalice Town.”Though she casually says “what a coincidence,” it almost feels as if she has been waiting for you in this vast forest all along… Yet phrased that way, it might sound a little self-absorbed—maybe it really was just a coincidence. Before blowing out the candles on her fifteenth birthday, Kallen was without doubt the happiest girl in the world—blessed with loving parents, a vast bedroom in her castle, and a kingdom full of loyal subjects. But on that fateful day, she made a single wish: to leave the castle. Following a butterfly into the forest, she returned only to find her kingdom shrouded in black mist, transformed into a living hell. There was no time to grieve—an inferno soon devoured everything she had once called home. From that day onward, Kallen’s smile vanished. In its place remained a sharpened scythe… and a heart consumed by vengeance.“Pray for your own safety—I won’t save you twice.”Turning away, she disappeared into the darkness—her only purpose now to hunt down the mysterious figure she glimpsed within the flames that day, even if it means severing her own emotions. For Fouco, life as the Demon Lord was nothing but endless drudgery—24 hours of routine: meetings on “advancing the modernization of the Demon Army under the New Era,” evaluations of destructive operations, and bureaucratic oversight of her underlings. She grew weary of it all.Abandoning her throne, she thought she could finally live a carefree life as a wanderer. Yet her successor, Rahabe, plunged the land into a reign of darkness—forcing Fouco into deep regret for her choice. Now, to atone for her mistakes and to end this unending war, she must fight as the former Demon Lord… against the Demon Lord herself.“I see… one step after another, a thousand miles in the making… Hero, you’ve truly thought this through.”Naturally, Fouco found her destined Hero—for she had already glimpsed countless futures where this Hero defeats Rahabe.Raised since childhood under the admiration of others as the so-called Bridge of Truth, Sartre’s life seemed destined to be smooth sailing. Yet such precocious brilliance soon drew suspicion and envy from her superiors—the old scholars at the institute dismissed her work as little more than castles in the air. Their endless jeers and criticisms weighed heavily on her, dragging down the pace of her research.Unwilling to waste her life in petty quarrels with mediocrity, Sartre severed her ties and abandoned her post at the Ninth Research Institute. What she needed was vast, uninterrupted time—time to calculate, to simulate, until she could complete the ultimate Genesis Grand Magic.“You’ve caught my attention. From now on, you’ll be my research subject!”…And yet, some new curiosity always seems to steal her gaze. The road to her great magic remains ever long."Defeat the Demon Lord and become a hero" was Green's dream since childhood. At the age of 8, when he first witnessed General Satyr's brave figure at the imperial palace's military parade, Green quietly set the goal to join the Silver Griffin. As the youngest agent in the Griffin Intelligence and Countermeasure Department, Green Roland became a highly anticipated rising star. However, during a mission, an "accident" left him severely wounded, and when he regained consciousness, he received notice that he had been dismissed from the military. No one knows exactly what happened that day. Green Roland still roams the streets as usual, but today he has a new identity and a new goal."I am Green, a hunter living in this forest."Since that day, Green has decided to walk down this thorny path. This Is Your Story with the Forest of Silver ShallotsThe Forest of Silver Shallots—a world that whispers with magic. Took me nearly 500 hours and multiple game completions to recruit Karen Scarlett into my party. I started playing an hour after release and until now I haven't successfully recruited her. I am now the happiest man in the world.

After playing the first game, I waited for this one, when I played it, first it feelt weird because of the RPG elements and the fight system the game has. I was still able to enjoy it. The story is way longer than the previous game, you mostly can select how your days going ingame.

I'm cautiously optimistic for how the game ends up. This is far from the full game but what is there is likable characters and generally pretty easy to understand systems. I would like to see how the other characters join in the game. Aside from rare minor typos and the screen for buying things (when selected as a travel location), currently there's nothing weird or bad that I've seen. Obviously the game will be much better if they can add in their promised replayability component of previous decisions mattering, and the eventual voice acting will help a lot too. The game will have to pick up in some ways as it goes on but what is currently there, is good. (One of the things Lilith says a couple times sounds a bit odd but I always assumed Lilith to be mostly lady-like, and it could be a localization thing or a manner of speaking for certain people, I can't remember the word right now). As long as the foundation or base for the game is finished soon and more content is added I think pacing should be okay. But again, cautiously optimistic. I'll edit this as things change. I've now put much more time into it, the lone wolf path needs to change if this is the final version as it's a br…
