About Antiprism

Follow the two misfit pilots Jexen and Malik as they stumble upon an ancient artifact that binds them together and takes them on a perilous adventure through the most dangerous place in the galaxy: The Gone.
Fight your way through bands of space pirates, armies of the Selysian Dominion, swarms of insect-like Kheelee, and even face Vel Selysian - the mysterious prophet-like leader of the Dominion.
Collect items and credits from your encounters and use them to customize and upgrade parts of your ships - you will need all the firepower you can get in order to reach the end of our pilots' journey.
Test your aim and dodging abilities against elite enemies, unique bosses and environmental hazards, as you uncover the secrets of the Antiprism and its connection to the extinct civilization of Arn.
- Twin-ship single-player VR gameplay
- Customizable & upgradeable ship systems including lots of different weapons
- Several enemy factions, each with its own unique units
- Challenging and epic boss fights
- Environmental hazards triggered by space anomalies
- Campaign mode featuring main and side missions across multiple chapters
- Endless Survivor mode with infinite procedurally generated stages
Leave the flat screen behind because Antiprism has been designed from the ground up as a VR-only experience.
We're working to make the game comfortable to play in any room setup, whether seated, standing or room-scale.
Antiprism's unique gameplay only works in a VR setting with two controllers and can't be played with a gamepad or mouse and keyboard.
Antiprism is under active development. We host playtesting sessions and listen to our community for ways in which to improve the game. Join our Discord server if you have any questions or want to connect with the developers and other players!
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/R15_hgdG-Y4 This is NOT a positive review, consider this a neutral or meh recommendation. This really is a rather mediocre, forgettable shoot 'em up. I would rather play Xortex, which is free (from Valve's The Lab mini-game). This game isn't terrible, but I just didn't have fun playing it. So what did it get right? I liked the visual variety, the different scenes & the different types of encounters were good. For example, in one level you're avoiding & exploding asteroids before you get crushed or you avoid electron light fields that move all around. I also liked all the different weapons and how they all did behave differently and how the upgrades felt substantial. There's also a nice variety of enemies & boss fights. The particle effects were also good. However, I think this game got just about everything else wrong. The biggest thing is how holding the twin ships feels wrong & unresponsive. The twin ships are actually positioned away from your motion controllers, so it doesn't feel like you're holding them. They also move like you're moving your hands underwater. They're also en…

Although I only played like 8 mins I can tell you this game isn't worth your time. • No action like the trailer or screenshots. Mainly black space with enemies just flying on a 2d plane. Look up longer plays on Youtube (there is one that is 56mins) and you can see its mainly black asteroid fields with same enemies. • You mainly point/aim your ships then move them. 1 unit of controller movement was maybe 0.3~0.5 unit of ship movement. It does look there is a lot of upgrades you can do to your ship but this game isn't 3D bullet hell like The Lab Xortex minigame but rather just a 2d bullet hell with a front plane (your ships) and a back plane (enemy ships). Got this game from a Fanatical Bundle to complete the number of games needed to buy and wish I would have watch a Youtube video first on how lackluster this game is. Spend your valuable time playing something else.

Antiprism is a VR-exclusive twin-ship shoot 'em up that delivers a modern take on arcade bullet-hell mechanics. While its visual style is stylized rather than photorealistic, it is praised for its immersive space environments and clear, 90 FPS performance on mid-range hardware. Visuals and Graphics Aesthetic: The game features a vibrant, "retro-modern" sci-fi look with diverse enemy factions, including the bio-mechanical Kheelee and the Selysian Dominion. Clarity & Immersion : Designed exclusively for VR, the visuals focus on depth and scale, making space anomalies and asteroid fields feel massive. Performance: The game is built on the Unity engine and is highly optimized to maintain a steady 90 FPS, which is critical for avoiding motion sickness in fast-paced shooter. Recommended for new VR players for easy controls and fact paced action.

Not a bad game, but has been abandoned with bugs that were reported years ago. Particularly, if using missile launcher in chapter 4, you will be unable to continue. Also, it's seems to give me a bit if eye strain, possibly due to the backgrounds being a texture instead of real 3D. On the plus side, it has a decent size campaign, which is often missing from VR games.

Zero fun indeed. $18 game that feels more like a cheap prototype.
