The story starts with the main character getting a call from his father, asking him to come back to their old home and save him. While exploring, you will come across strange creatures, puzzles, and pieces of his memories that slowly reveal more about his father and what happened to his family. I really like the art style. It’s mostly black, white, and grey, which gives the whole game a creepy, old-fashioned horror-story atmosphere. The puzzles feel medium difficulty to me. They are not extremely difficult, but some of them require several tries before you get them right. For the achievements, you need to play through the game twice to get them all. There are also some missable achievements, so once you pass certain points, you can’t go back to get them. I’d recommend saving often, especially before making important choices.

7.5/10! The puzzles were challenging and at some point started making no sense for me so I dropped for a while. I just finished it tonight. You gotta be keen with the details and pay attention to the symbols because they will be scattered all across the map. In line with this I appreciate the note feature cuz I can just directly jot down and draw my notes in the game. Completing the puzzles on my own felt rewarding, but a guide significantly saved me time and the frustration of going back and forth. As someone who loves science AND monsters, I adore the universe built around this game. It also reminded me of my late father, whom I very much miss. Thank you, Cotton!

I made solid progress by myself until I grew frustrated with the game suddenly not making much sense. The fact that it's non linear makes it really hard to connect the dots concerning certain objects and their potential use. Had to look up a guide but still good enough for my unwinding time

There is a lot to like about this puzzle game as long as you don't mind walking back and forth numerous times. Puzzles are just challenging enough. The story, visuals, and audio are great! Overall, I loved it!
