Simon the Sorcerer 3D

A highly anticipated adventure game that flopped. Simon the Sorcerer was a very highly rated saga of adventure games back in the 90s. They are similar in tone and atmosphere to the first Monkey Island games but with british humour. Their wonderful pixelart, professional voice cast and parody of every fantasy trope, made them classics in the genre. Now we have the sequel, Simon the Sorcerer 3D was supposed to be another 2D game but it was scraped and instead we get a fully 3D conversion. Open worlds with nothing but grass and fences, a huge town with generic buildings, tons of clipping and glitchy collisions, and the worst graphics you will see in a long time. Originally released in 2002, the game looks like something made in Microsoft 3D Movie Maker (from 1995), with sceneries and mechanics that look more like Super Mario 64 or Zelda Ocarina of Time. Simon can crouch, walk, run and jog. Some puzzles are even built around this mechanics, including weird stealth sections. good needs cotroller support tho

Utter Garbage compared with the previous 2. Horrible graphics and control system. Gave up after 10 minutes.

Some really good but sometimes difficult puzzles to solve, but a great comical adventure, would certainly recommend, also Simon I and Simon II
