Arcane Arts: Sorcerer's Quest

Among the several GameHouse games I’ve had the pleasure of playing so far, [i]Arcane Arts[/i] series was probably one of my least favorite. Because of the different nature of the magic they use, the relations between the two factions have always been tense. Erika (our protagonist) is caught in the middle of this conflict, at the brink of war. She is a student of the Order Academy whose dean is her grandmother, but also the daughter of the Chaos Extremists group led by her father. Arcane Arts: Sorcerer's Quest is a treat for those who enjoy the recent GameHouse games. Going to the universes of the other Gamehouse games is so much fun. No missable achievements and takes around 9 hours to complete. [i]Arcane Arts: Sorcerer's Quest[/i] is a time management game developed by SQRT3 and published by GameHouse. It is the third game in the [i]Arcane Arts Academy[/i] series. As usual, the main protagonist is Erika Tinsley, a young promising witch at the academy. The following will contain spoilers, mainly from the end of the second game, so do be forewarned. Erika is accused by the Court of Magic of being a spy for the Extremists, a radical group of magic users, and is put on trial. Also, Vertigo, Erika's grandmother who's the head of the magic academy, has been removed from her post and is now trying to prevent an unavoidable war between Order and Chaos. It's up to Erika and her trusty companions to stop the war as well as to clear Erika's name. That's the basic gist of the story.
