Unable to make a truly well-informed review at this point in time. I will review what I was able to get through: The UI is well thought out and reminiscent of industrial equipment. Thematicism and looks: 10/10 The "basics" button leads to a user manual. Very much like real life. 10/10 The tutorial quickly gets you into the fundamentals of ladder logic, but just a few machines in, the game breaks for me. I'm tasked with adding a timer, and when I go to adjust the settings for the timer, my keyboard input isn't visibly registered. It is (apparently) registered, because when I jump out of the timer settings menu, the value has changed on the faceplate. While having to fight the PLC programming software environment to work properly may be realistic, that isn't what I want in a game. I went looking for a bug-reporting option in-game, and didn't find one. When I went looking for the official website, I was met with https security errors in my browser, so I don't particularly feel like opening that site in my browser. So, here I am. I can neither recommend for nor against this game, as I can't really experience it, but for that reason and the fact that I am forced to recommend one way…

Crashes too often and doesn't actually teach anything. Starting with parking lot it becomes guess work rather than instructional. Shame because I would love a better teaching resource for ladder logic.

It clearly has a bug with Steam and the CAPS key. Other than that, I've not had issues. It can be a little non-specific when you haven't gotten things exactly how it likes. But I find that if you just keep tweaking and have some patience, it works quite well.

besides it crashing constantly. If you know nothing about ladder logic like me then you're going to have a tough time completing the parking lot level and on. It doesn't really teach you the why behind whats going on. The guides in the first couple levels just say put this here and put this there... no real explanation and then you stop getting help and left to figure a photosensor and a timer in the parking garage. This could of been an actual teaching tool but its really just something to do if you're already familiar with ladder logic which im not and after playing this im still not. Just another reminder that it crashes A LOT.

Cool tool for getting a visual understanding of PLC functions without spending $5,000 on a real program and a learning box. As others have mentioned it is a bit rigid in its execution. adding extras, such as "run" indicator lights, to the control panels on levels can break the functions of the game. Additionally not being able to freely design systems is a drawback to the teaching potential this has. I do hope the developer comes back one day to add some things or perhaps someone in the comments can take up the mantle and create something new. Either way, good use of 15 bucks for newcomers to automation and controls.

This game is frustratingly rigid. Several levels in the first 4 or 5 I have solved the functional description, but was not recognised by the game so it didn't let me move on. The first was a simple motor start/stop where it seemed to need to be on one line, it works just fine with a relay, but wouldn't pass.
