No Parachute

No Parachute is like an updated version of Pilot Wings from the Super Nintendo (one of my favorite games of all time) if you were having a nightmare about it. Though, that might be me putting a lot of my personal frustrations with how bad I am at the game into my review. I also have this game on another platform, and have invested a few more hours into playing it than my time in the Steam version shows, so this is a proper review not a first impressions... I love the game, but I wont pretend I'm great at it. No Parachute is so wildly different than anything else out there, it's why I love indie games. It's a small game, with a lot of love and polish put into it, to make one mechanic really work, but not taking it a single step further than that mechanic can support. Everything here works perfectly. The controls are great, but the game moves at break neck speed. This is the free fall version of an anti precision platformer. One mistake and you have to start the level over. No Parachute has criminally few reviews, and deserves way more attention than it has gotten. It is in every way a hidden gem. ♥♥♥♥ game, the only thing good about it is the game idea and the art style. If you lose a limb, it's impossible to complete the level, because you will not be able to move around as fast anymore. The levels are also way too hard and it's more about knowing where to move than by having good reflexes
