About Bit Orchard

You finally bought the apple orchard you have always wanted. It is old and overgrown, but with some care it can become something special.

Clear weeds, plant apple trees, and keep watch for hungry crows. Harvest apples to earn money, upgrade your house, and expand your land as your orchard grows!

The surrounding town has opened its doors to you. Meet the local residents, help them with small tasks, and raise your friendship level. As your relationships grow, each character invites you into their home where you can play a unique mini game created just for them.

You can buy chickens, collect and sell eggs, incubate eggs to hatch new chicks, or make mayonnaise for a higher profit.

For players who like to explore, a small mine waits beneath the earth. Work your way down through multiple levels to gather crystals, money, and fiber, and search for rare decorations that add personality to your orchard.

The game includes a variety of color palettes and music tracks that can be swapped at any time to suit your mood. There is also an optional open farm mode that removes some of the early game grind for a faster start.

The visuals use a crisp one bit pixel style inspired by the original Game Boy, paired with simple controls and a relaxed, cozy pace. Fans of small scale life sim and farming games like Stardew Valley or Forager may enjoy its minimalist charm and focus on tending a quiet space of your own.

Build up your orchard at your own speed and watch a neglected plot of land turn into a thriving little orchard.

Fed up of games that lack the most basic of options like a windowed mode or volume controls. Options that every single PC game released in the last quarter of a century can and should have as standard. Completely unacceptable incompetence.

I like GB Harvest Moon, so I wanted to try this. Chiptunes and gridding out my orchard is fun, but it felt a bit lonely with just a rabbit and some crows. Obviously the late-game experience will change these when I get there, but the initial experience gave me some ideas. If you've spent time on a backwater farm, there's a simulated element here that matches perfectly: the attention span shrinks to whatever you can impact, quickly. The gameplay loop quickly flattened when I realized my farm experience was gated by apple harvests, which were gated by sleeping. There's probably more to discover and explore and befriend, but a fundamental feeling of 'too much to do at once' supports the sublime farmer spirit beyond planting and watering seeds. I promise you I can plant smart grids and speed-water them, but if I don't even have a chair to cutely doze off in beside the farmhouse the neighbours will gossip about the new guy sleeping 16 hours a day. Nuts and bolts. I had to restart at 7PM on day one because I immediately forgot the controls. I'm a fan of there being a special thanks section, but that's not something I might read twice, meanwhile displaying controls in the menu would hel…

Started a little bit! Absolutely love the 1-bit graphics going on, def see a lot of potential and I truly genuinely hope the dev continues making more games, because this was solid.

Pros: Cute pixel style Liked the music Cons: The controls didn't work at all. Actions wouldn't register, and the game would select the wrong items at times. I tried on both controller and keyboard. (I would say that that controller is slightly more enjoyable to play with, but not by much) Some features didn't work. I tried enabling the grid view to no avail. Overall a frustrating experience.

A cute little game with charming pixel art. It's very cozy and relaxing and I like it a lot. The music can get repetitive but it's not a big problem since I can just turn it down and play podcast or music in the background. I perfected this game in 6 hours. 135 in game days. The most time consuming achievement was the one where I had to catch the frog to collect all 12 different items. It's only possible to catch one per day and it will give you a random item out of the 12 items it's carrying. The game itself is simple, you plant trees, water them, sell apples, and buy more seeds/decorations. There are some skins to collect and I really love the little ghost one. I don't bother collecting the decorations because I covered my land with apple trees and have no space to decorate lol Outside of your orchard, there's a tiny town where you can build relationship with the townsfolk (which is not something that I expected) by fulfilling their quests and there are more shops too. These have nothing to do with the achievement, so I treat it as end game content. I mainly focus on the tasks that will give me the achievements and don't bother with the town stuff. Overall good game! I …
