About Echoes of the Plum Grove
Build and sustain a multi-generational farm on a mysterious island where winter survival depends on your preparation, relationships, and resource management across farming, fishing, cooking, and crafting. Your choices shape the community and determine whether your lineage survives long enough to uncover the island's secrets hidden in the mines, bay, and beyond.
- A new life awaits you in Honeywood! After washing onto the island's shores, you'll find yourself the newly minted owner to a humble plot of land. Pull up your sleeves, grab your tools, and get to work building a farm that will last not only a lifetime, but span generations!
- Echoes of Plum Grove is a casual, cozy farm simulator where your decisions have consequences! What to plant, what to stock for the winter, and who to befriend will shape not only the town of Honeywood, but the island itself.
- Winter brings new levels of danger to players. With your very survival at stake, you'll have to work your land, fish the sea, cook meals, craft, forage, and more to ensure you make it through the cold season. Should you neglect to prepare, your lineage could end before anyone can uncover the island's secrets.
- While your main focus should be on survival, the town of Honeywood puts its best festive foot forward with many celebrations taking place.
- Honeywood may be a cozy hamlet, where the people are the heart of the town. Everyone who lives on the island has their own schedules, jobs, traits, hobbies, and children.
- Work together with your fellow townsfolk to forge an even greater community - or just get them out of the way with harsh words and drastic measures.
- Building relationships is at the core of Echoes of the Plum Grove. As you grow your family tree and your original character perishes, you'll find yourself playing as someone else within your family!
- While building relationships is crucial to your experience, take time to explore the island. There are many mysteries to uncover. Some say there's a witch that lives on the island and brings to town strange items. Others swear they've heard something coming from the bay. A few wonder what exists at the bottom of the mines. Adventure to the edges of the island to see what Echoes of Plum Grove has in store for you!

I really wanted to LOVE this game. The story and the artstyle are both unique. Unfortunately, the gameplay can't keep me engaged. The NPCS feel like they lack depth in their personalities which makes it more tedious to talk to them. I just ended up skipping through their dialogues for relationship. Fishing and mining feel boring, repetitive and uninteresting. The mining may get more interesting the more you play but after a few hours, I just feel like I do not want to continue.4 found this helpful
This is a lovely cosy game and I can't wait to see it grow more over time x plays very smoothly on Mac too :)
I love the art style and everything and i have not played very long but too many thing just don't get explained. food? it runs out so quick, and every thing that could help is WAY to expensive or you need to have a ton of different expensive to make it. and then if you try to resell it? NOPE it will sell way cheaper than you bye like had clicked on it by accsedent [sorry for spelling] and i tried to sell it back, I bought it for around 46 or 49 dollars and it resold for 13. And I also had lost a ton of profit because of the stupid watering rule that say you lose your seeds if you don't water them. AND THAT IS NEVER EXPLAIND!!!!!! honestly i am going to keep playing it because it is cute and i want my moneys worth, but do not recommend because of bad macanics it not worth, IN MY OPINION. please don't be mad at me people who love the game. thank you
The game is really simple to jump into, but has lots of details that make it worth coming back to. I enjoy the casual feel and not feeling pressured or rushed in the game.
ya
I bought this game a year ago and was so frustrated because I couldn't even figure out how to get the starting tools. I was put off by some of the darker aspects of the game. I recently decided to give it another try and am enjoying it. It is a challenging and grindy survival and generational farming life sim. Don't expect deep romance, but the NPCs have a mix of personality traits which makes it interesting to interact with them. It's sad that NPCs grow old or get sick and die, but because you and the NPCs marry and have children, the island would quickly become overcrowded and lack employment opportunities for the children if the old folks didn't pass on. A constantly evolving cast of characters keeps things interesting. It seems like the game is mostly complete now, and the developers have added a number of quality of life improvements since the initial release. As for the darker aspects, so far I've been able to succeed without having to murder or insult anyone. I have some complaints. Playing with a controller seems half-baked. I can move around just fine, and change rows in the inventory, but I still have to use my mouse or touchscreen to select individual item…
