Linear, classic Castlevania-inspired arcade action platformer with a heavy metal motif and a Gradius-style power-up system. Challenging, but fair and with plenty of room for experimentation.

steamソフト群の中に埋もれた良作アクションゲーム ・感想 当初よくあるメトロイドヴァニア風なゲームだと思ったが、違った。 初代悪魔城＋ロックマン風ステージにグラディウス風パワーアップ要素を足したという感じ。 オールドスクールらしいゲーム性に快適な操作性、作者がそういった古いゲームが好きということが何となくわかる仕掛けも多数あり、中々おもしろい。 パワーアップの進捗に伴って鎧の色が変わる演出はとてもGOOD ただし一発死の場所が多く、操作キャラゼロでロックマンをやっている気分になる。 （主人公は剣による近接攻撃のみ、サブウェポンが飛び道具となる悪魔城方式） サブウェポンも全20種類のうち持っていけるものは１つ、入手のたびに切り替え＆一度やられるとロストでとても厳しめ つまり、難易度はインディーらしくとても高い 特にボスはステージ4以降パターンを覚えて対処してもなお厳しいものがある 実質的にステージ内でのパワーアップを持ち越してボスを倒すのは厳しいと想定 グラディウス方式のため一回やられると初期状態での再開となりさらにきつくなる。 ※ボス時のみ最低限のパワーアップは可能な部屋へ戻される救済処置あり クリア後はRTAよろしく各マップセクションごとに一定時間内でクリアするとともらえるオーブ（実績）集めをしたりマップの各所に隠しになっているサブウェポンを探す楽しみなどやりこみ要素もあり。 ・要望 主人公のパワーアップもう少し多種多様、見た目ももっと豪華にしてもよかったのでは サブウェポンは２つ装備できてよかったのでは、1ミスで１つロスト位のペナで ・結論 中々よかったんだけど2000円だとちと高い、見栄えもよくあるアクションゲーといった感じで注目されにくいので980円位にしないと気づいてもらえないんじゃないだろうか。 [strike]ホントsteamの過当競争は地獄だぜ！ フゥハハハーハァー[/strike]

I bought this game because it was pretty cheap. I expected a Castlevania imitation but I was pleasently surprized, this plays in a complete diferent way. The character has high movility and a powerup system similar to gradius. It's not prefect, excellent for the asking price. Highly recomended, I hope the developers make more games like this.

This game is quite challenging. I hope there is a sequel.

I feel pretty mixed on this. The music is great, the gameplay is fast and satisfying, the graphics (while an acquired taste) are detailed and artistic. Why am I mixed? The bosses. I am not going to thumb down the game just because I hate almost every boss in the game though. The bosses are just hugely inconsistently difficult, and frankly quite unfun to play. They have 2 or 3 patterns each, but some of them are so fast and unpredictable that it is more an exercise in completely memorizing every tiny animation than it is quick thinking and reflexes. They also have a ridiculous amount of health on Knight difficulty (I didn't try any other difficulty, because I like Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania-style challenge). Honestly without bosses, I think this game would be a lot better. It's a shame that it is as unknown as it is, but the bosses made me put the game down and stop playing for over a year. I just picked it back up and finally finished it. That being said, I do definitely recommend the game, just be ready to slam your head against the wall for the boss fights. There are a lot of them, the bosses are damage sponges, and most of them are NOT fun. Bosses are generally a great palate…
