Levels are way, way way too long. It's easy, but they are just way too long. I have 45 minutes into this and got to the first boss. As I'm running, I summon a card and the game freaks out and just goes to a black screen. Nothing I can do. Restart the game and I'm not back at the last checkpoint, I'm back at the beginning of the level. 35 minutes wasted due to a glitch. BYE!

A fun game!, but it have something you can improve, such as something in stages are hard to see, such as ice pillar which I have to fire it to drop platforms in Bael stage. Instrument in Astaroth stage are hard to activate if I equip lance (long range) and boomerang (can't aim up). And not sure this one should be count or not, Valac is too hard to reach when he is in top of stage, have to wait him to move to side of stage. I like Belial boss fight.

GET ON DEEP DISCOUNT IF YOU MUST - Fun for the first few hours. The story is crap, writing is freaking absurdly bad, combat gets insanely stale and boring after 2-3 hours. So many horrible systems mashed together in pure clunkiness. But...-My god the animated cinematics are just top-notch has some real anime-level super fights that look freaking cool. Unfortunately I will rate this AS A GAME, and NOT AN ANIMATED MOVIE. So it's a clear thumb down in that regard.

Spirit Mancer, developed by Sunny Syrup Studio and published by Dear Villagers and OKJOY, is a vibrant 2D action-adventure that blends hack-and-slash combat with deck-building and creature-collection mechanics in a way that feels both ambitious and playful. Set in a colorful demon realm known as Inferno, the game follows a demon hunter who is unexpectedly transported to this chaotic world and must carve a path through its dangers in order to return home. While the premise may sound familiar, Spirit Mancer distinguishes itself through its hybrid systems, layering fast-paced side-scrolling action with strategic card-based summoning and light life-simulation elements. At the heart of the experience is its unique combat loop. Players wield a combination of melee and ranged weapons, switching between them to counter different enemy types and break defensive stances. Combat flows with a satisfying rhythm once mastered, requiring careful timing, dodging, and positional awareness. However, the standout feature is the ability to capture the spirits of defeated enemies and convert them into usable cards. These spirit cards can then be summoned during combat to unleash powerful attacks, defe…

Loving this game so far! I would be remiss not to say I wish we could play as more characters than just the two available -- kinda like a character selection kinda thing. There are so many cool characters we meet through the story! All in all though, really great experience.
