WOW WOWEE WOWZERS THIS GAMME?!!
11 Dollars!!??
Repetitive level design, bullet spongy enemies, hardly any variation between enemies other than retextures, a single laser attack shared between all of them, and a unity free splash screen to boot. I could go on, but it's already used up enough of my time.
While this would be a fantastic first game if someone was just learning to make games, I do have to agree with most of the views. The "rogue-like" elements are just the same levels repeated ad nauseam and and the game play gets stale rather quick. It doesn't incentivize someone to play it ever past their first death. The weapons are the same pretty much, as are the enemies. It only get harder in that certain enemies have more health and deal more damage. I just can't rationalize playing this anymore until it gets some more love to it. Sorry. If this is, indeed, a first timer project, dude, I love the direction you are going with this. It's a little simplistic and silly, but definitely needs some love to make it more enjoyable. Try looking at other games you like in this genre and pushing to implement things that you feel that they do right. Add items and such to drop from enemies maybe? Mix up the combat. Something like that. Take some time to really develop this and I would love to come back to it once it is actually finished.
